Wifi Features

Festival room? I don't think I remember anything about that :O
But no, I didn't get to use the WIFI features at all. I could never get the thing to work with my internet connection.

 

I have no memory of this place... Seriously, I never heard of that :/

 

It actually looks like it was a lot of fun, why haven't I done this before? It was probably one of those things you can't access when you're playing on an emulator...

This was back when I didn't know how to connect my games to the internet (I was only able to figure it out in BW, for Victini). It looks fun, but at the same time, the rooms in the centers were a pain, and not just because I couldn't access them. Looking back, it seems like it took so much longer than it does now in XY.

 

I don't remember too much about using the Wi-Fi features in Generation IV, but it is one of the things that i'll remember it for introducing, definitely.

However, the GTS sucked, as it was overcome by greed as everyone and their grandma would make unreasonable requests (nobody wants to trade a Palkia for a Bidoof, thank you very much). I never battled seriously but I get why the Wi-Fi was such an important advent to the franchise.

 

The wifi features were really awesome! I remember the festival thing mainly because of the really cool Piplup boat. I honestly wish it would come back in the future games.
However, the GTS was terrible since pretty much everything was hacked and people asked for impossible things.
