With most of the Fall season series wrapping up this weekend, the 2016 Winter season is right around the corner. You can take a look at the Winter line up here.
What series will you give try and which ones will you watch for sure? Are you familiar with the source material of any of the series? What series you most excited for?
I'll be checking out Ajin, Ansatsu Kyoushitsu 2, Haruchicka, Hundred, Musaigen no Phantom World, Nurse Witch Komugi-chan R, Prince of Stride, Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut and possibly Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm, Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! and Shoujo-tachi wa Kouya wo Mezasu. Phew, this looks to be decent season, hopefully some of these series will be positive surprises :3

I'm definitely going to watch the second season of the Gate, while checking out Hai to Gensou no Grimgar, which dark description and colorful trailer don't fit together at all. I will also take a look at Divine Gate, and possibly watch Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! at least to see the cabbages. I might also watch Reikenzan: Hoshikuzu-tachi no Utage, but the others I mentioned, don't look that promising to me, maybe with the exception of Prince of Stride which I think will be the most dramatic anime series this season.

Edit: I probably should mention that it's still unknown when Hundred will be airing, so it'll quite unlikely that it'll come this season

    Ah really? I must've not paid attention ;;
Some interesting picks you have there, are you into more serious anime rather than comedy?

I enjoy both actually, but it's easier for me to find serious anime that I enjoy, rather than finding comedic one. Granted, I have only read the descriptions of this seasons animes, while watching the trailer for only few of them. I may watch some of the animes I didn't mention later, if some clip/screencap catches my interest or something similar.

I would watch Ansatsu Kyoushitsu 2, but I generally dislike watching anime of the manga I have read, since quite often I have found it to be quite boring, unless the animation quality is good. I'm only looking forward to seeing one part of it though.
Which is the fight between Nagisa and Karma.

    - Making a post in this thread so that I don't gotta make a whole new thread -

Winter 2016 anime are here! Which ones are you guys watching, and are there any you already dropped?
    I'm currently watching:
    • Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm
    • Hai to Gensou no Grimgar
    • Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut
    • Boku dake ga Inai Machi
    • Divine Gate
    • Musaigen no Phantom World
    • Oshiete! Galko-chan
I'm enjoying all of them to a good degree, they're all pretty enjoyable in their own way. I'd say my least favorite is Divine Gate, but it seems to be getting better as the episodes progress, so I won't be dropping it so soon.
Boku dake ga Inai Machi was the most interesting from the start, since the first episode alone got me hooked. That one and Musaigen no Phantom World are tied for my favorites from the bunch.

There are a couple I plan to watch that I haven't started yet too. The main ones would be Gate's 2nd season (I still gotta finish the 1st season), Dagashi Kashi, Ajin, and a few others. I've heard many good things about Ajin, so I'm really looking forward to that.

The only anime that catches my eye so far was Divine Gate, and after the first episode, It really wasn't what I expected. I'm going to watch the next couple of episodes, and if it isn't good, I think I'll drop it.
I find that nothing really interests me this season, which hasn't happened in a while. Hopefully the Spring Season will do better.

Figure I might as well post the things I'm currently watching this season too:
Ajin - Watching this because the manga is seriously amazing and epic. So far the anime's been incredibly slow compared to the manga though so that's a shame. It's also animated with GCI, but it looks very good in my opinion, the characters and expressions are all well done and the rest too so I don't really mind.
AssClass S2 - Absolutely loved the first season so naturally I'm watching the second one as well. Haven't been keeping up with this one for some reason, I still have 3 or so episodes to watch. Looks like more of the same as the first season so far which is a-okay with me.
HQ!! S2 - Do I really have to give my opinion on this anymore? Anxiously waiting for the big matches to be animated, it's beautiful so far.
KonSuba - I wasn't gonna watch this at first but I was bored and it looked at least somewhat okay. Turns out it's actually a parody of those endless RPG like action series, which is a breath of fresh air. The jokes are all funny and the characters are over the top. Nothing super awesomely amazing, just a fun series to laugh at and watch on the side.
Musaigen no Phantom World - Mixed feelings about this one. The animation is done by KyoAni which automatically makes it amazing, but there's not really a plot (unless you count the aptly sized plots of Mai) and the episodes were kinda random and eh so it didn't really live up to the expectations that many people had, including me. However, its latest episode has given me hope the series could still go somewhere in the second half, I hope so at least.
Prince of Stride - A fucking waste. It's from the same director as NGNL and with music of the composer of HQ!! so why does it suck so bad??

Hai to Gensou no Grimgar is one of my favorites from Winter 2016 actually. It'd be my 3rd favorite, with Musaigen no Phantom World being 2nd and Boku Dake ga Inai Machi being 1st.
Though there is a slight problem I had with it, and that was pacing. I saw that a lot of people agreed with me. The difference in the group's strength and courage between episodes 2 and 3 was a bit too unrealistic.
I'm not caught up yet though, still gotta watch episode 4 and I believe episode 5 comes out this Saturday or Sunday, so we'll see what else happens.

Haruchika: Haruta to Chika wa Seishun Suru is the only one that really caught my eye, it definitely looks up my alley. I'll be waiting on checking it out, I'm looking forward to it!
