With OR/AS released, will you still play X/Y?

I'll probably set them aside. Many fond memories were made in XY, but I'll move my Pokémon over to ORAS and then just play that!

 

I'll definitely plan to still play X&Y, these games had some of the most interesting gameplay mechanicsa and it does help that the world of Kalos is very beautiful.

 

I'll probably return to XY occasionally to do challenge playthroughs on them, and I might use them for breeding (though if ORAS keeps the breeding mechanics + possibly improves them further then chances are I'll breed on OR). Otherwise, I won't be touching 'em much.

 

I'd probably set them aside like every game I've played. I feel like I won't put as much effort in the new games if I don't.

I will probably continue to play X & Y because I don't have a 3D- wait.

I will probably still continue to play B2W2, BW, and HGSS on my regular DS then.

 

Yes, I will occasionally. However, why wouldn't I transfer all my thigs to ORAS?

 

I will occasionally come back to X&Y, but only because I'm too lazy to transfer my Pokémon over to OR/AS, so if I want to breed certain Pokémon I'll just do that in X&Y.

 

I'm sure i'll still end up playing them. Things like character customization and the MASSIVE variety of Pokémon make for ways to keep the adventures enjoyable, so my next playthrough of XY sure won't be my last. (Not to mention everything I have on my main copy...)

 

Well, perhaps I will trade all my belongings from X&Y to ORAS and then play challenges such as a Wonderlocke on X&Y. That sounds plausible, as I've always wanted to try a Wonderlocke but didn't want to restart my game. But since ORAS is looking like X&Y and then some, except Hoenn (<3), I won't see too much of a reason to return to X&Y.

 

Not sure, I did play the older titles but I already have to worry about re-obtaining White/Black2/SoulSilver/Diamond because I traded them in for Destiny + season pass and Titanfall Worst decision I ever made (Destiny not Titanfall). Now I'm down $30 and no previous Pokémon titles except my Y version :'( Luckly I preordered Alpha Sapphire using Destiny

 

I'll probably still play X here and there. I plan on transferring my best Pokémon to Alpha Sapphire, seeing as how that will be the main Pokémon game I'll be playing for a while. Besides, Generation 3 is my favorite.

Unless breeding becomes even easier in OR/AS I will still use X/Y to breed. Not only will the Pokémon get boosted EXP but I also have both charms on Pokémon Y and don't want to have to get them all over again.

 

I would, be then they said that the patch for XY wouldn't make the games compatible with ORAS, so I need to stay up to date. I'll probably nuzlocke through it!

 

I... don't really know. I think i'll keep X and Y for breeding purposes. But if OR/AS is going to keep the same breeding mechanics, have some of my favourite Pokémon easily accessible (such as Riolu, Eevee, Seismitoad), or keep Wonder Trade, i'll definitely let X and Y have a rest.

 

I would still be returning to XY and my other HeartGold, Black, Diamond and Platinum but of course after I finish with ORAS. I would be using my XY as my current main competitive team though since I have to restart a new competitive team (with different team members of course) in ORAS

 

I'll definately keep my Y cartridge, but I don't know if I'll actively use it. It'll probably just get set aside. That is, of course, assuming ORAS is much better than X and Y, and by the looks of the demo, I'll say it does!
Maybe I'll play through it again in a few years for nostalgia. Heh, what a thought.

Wow, I remember when we had to use buttons to move around! And there wan't even any Virtual Reality support, how Retro!
