I just caught a Landorus, baby!!! I saw it in Pokémon General and I caught it without even wasting any of my Great Balls! This is awesome! Hey, does anyone know another thread where Legendaries are common? I feel a real hot streak coming on, and I wanna ride it as far as I can!
Legendaries have the same spawn rate in any thread or section, the only thing that differs if where certain legends can be found. No easy hunting grounds, sorry

I also caught a Shaymin a few minutes ago, but it wasted what was left of my entire ball stash. Still worth it!
Congratulations! It took me a long time to get my first non-egg legendary when I first came, too. Currently, if you're looking for a good thread to find Legendaries, the Forces of Nature are swarming in the Support Hub and Info Desk, so I think they're more common right now, and ever so slightly easier to catch. When new updates come, new Legendaries start becoming more common, so keep an eye out for what's swarming!

Here’s a tip for catching legendaries. You should aim for getting the ones that can earn you badges first (Bird trio, beast trio, eon duo, swords of justice, forces of nature, regi trio + Regigigas), as they reward PP. I find that the Creative Zone, especially in the Roleplay Institute, there is quite a large density of legendaries. I’m pretty sure you can encounter all four Regis, Latias, Latios, Cresselia, Darkrai and possibly more. Watch out for Regirock, though, it’ll eat off your sanity before you even know it.

Well, thanks to your help, I've already caught the three Regis, a Cresselia, and I'm pretty sure I got the all the rest of the Legendary eggs I still needed, and I still have balls to spare! Seriously, thank you so much!
