I'm still fairly new to writing fanfiction, so does anyone know ways of getting rid of writer's block?

When I get writer's block I just stop trying, because trying only makes it harder and even more frustrating. Some people try to write on something else as the writer's block may only occur in a single piece of work.

When I get writer's block, it's often a sign that I will not be able to write for crap anymore, so I take a break until either something sparks or I sit down and try again.

Ok. Thanks. I can't think of anything right now, so maybe I will just take a break.

Normally, I try to force myself through it. Thinking about the next part of my project usually helps me force my way through, and it's much easier once I'm going.

That said, I've been stuck on the same point for at least three weeks now, so make of my advice what you will.

i usually jump a few chapters ahead when I get writers block. i ask myself where do I see this character in the future. it helps jump start ideas for what i am working on. either that or play a game that is related if possible. its great for inspiration.

When I get writer's block, I look up prompts online. Even if I'm working on a story or something, I take a break from that and write other things if I can. prompts, drabbles I've had in mind, poems.
Or, if that doesn't help, just stop. Take a breather. Do some other things for a little while.
    Good luck! c:

Basing on Experience, there are a few ways that I try:
    1. Revise. If you found yourself stuck, try a new outlook and way around it.
    2. Relax a bit and put yourself in your character's place. What would you do?
    3. Try things that spark your creativity. Listen to music, watch anime... Etc.

#1 is hard but I found it really effective.
