    Yes the title is intention.
We all have those words we clearly don't know the correct spelling for, so we strongly rely on autocorrect and spellcheck to help us out, but sometimes not even they can fix our treacherous. In fact, I had to rely on spellcheck just now, because I spelled treacherous as "trechorous".
What are some words you can almost never spell correctly?

For some reason, no matter how many times I see the correctly spelling, I can never type out definitely right. It always ends up as "definetly".
I tend to spell embarrassed as "embarrased" most of the time too.
There was another one but I got distracted and forgot. :P

I never get excuse on the first try. I almost always spell escuse. Maybe I'm just prefer smoother syllables, saying "Esckyu-" instead of "Ekskyu-"

Kind if like your definitely, I misspell mine "Definately"

I definately suck at spelling those two words, and I have no escuse for my actions.

'Accommodation', as well as any other word that can potentially have 2 pairs of double letters, or at least looks like it could.
There are some other odd cases as well, like 'minuscule', which I keep forgetting as well.

Other than that, if I end up spelling a word wrong, it was done on porpoise.

    Maintenance
It's such an evil word, I always spell it as "Maintainence" for some reason.
Another is Receive, because I forget the I before E EXCEPT AFTER C rule.

Words I commonly misspel(wow, I won't even correct that!) include embarassed, offcourse, everytime, and, well, there was another but it was removed from my memoery (and I won't correct that).

It all comes down to which keyboard I'm typing with, for instance, if the keys are slightly hard to push, it will result in more spelling mistakes than light, 'clicky' keyboards.

For me I have trouble with very few words. If I don't know how to spell something I remember the result on spell check, so that I don't make the same mistake again. xD

Also I can't even begin to count how many people I see spell "a lot", "their, they're, there", "your, you're" and other easy words wrong.

"A lot" is two words. Spelling it as one word is incorrect.
(For the same reason, spelling "all right" as one word is also incorrect.)

For me it's the words ridiculous (I always spell ridicilous) and embarrassed (I too spell embarassed or embarrased). I'm sure there must be others, but these were the two that came to me when I read the title of the topic.

For some reason, I can never spell "subconscious" or "subconsciously" properly. It always comes out as "subconcious" and it's rather irritating because it's just one letter off! xD

Its a really simple word that I do know how to spell, but I always misspell "very" as "Verry"
I also just noticed I keep spelling "always" as "allways"

I always spell receive as recieve, and unless spellcheck kicks in, I won't even know I spelled it wrong. Really sucks when I'm writing. Consciousness is another one I always get wrong too, since apparently I can't remember that first s.

When I was younger I almost always spelled jewelry as "jewelery." Nowadays I don't make too many misspellings, but some of the words I slip up on are Medieval (Midevil, Mideval, Medival, Medeval, Medeival, Midievil), Mischievous (Mischevous, Mischievious, Mischevious, Mischeivous), and Privilege (Privilige, Priviledge, Privledge, Privilidge, Privlege).

English isn't my first language so I have trouble spelling a lot of words and my vocabulary isn't even that extensive to begin with. A few words I misspell repeatedly are embarrassing, competitive and surprisingly.

Outside of North America (so practically everywhere else), it is spelled jewellery so you almost got it! xD
