I get the feeling @[member="RedScizor"] is going to be posting non-stop in here.

You know how these work by now.

    Go crazy.

Well I'll just copy and paste what I said from the other thread I made that went into the archive:
Oh man, Xenoblade. I got this game for Christmas and boy is it one of the greatest games I've ever played. The combat system, the characters, the story, the openness of the world, this game seems to gave it all. I personally like Shulk, Dunban, Riki, and 7th best for combat but I want to try using Reyn, Melia, and Sharla more in future playthroughs. I usually get really bored of traditional RPGs so this game's fresh take on the genre was perfect for me. Its a shame its so darned hard to find.

Ah, Xenoblade. When SSB4 was released, I fell in love with Shulk and his quirks, despite even owning the game. I look forward to playing it on my 3DS, though!! I have a fried who raves about it daily.

Xenoblade has to be one of my favorite JRPGs of all time. The combat system is amazing. The characters are all easy to relate to and lovable, and the world is one that makes you want to constantly play the game again and again to find new places to explore. Easily one of the greatest masterpieces of all time. While on the subject. I voted Reyn for the Smash 4 contest. I would have said Riki or Dunban, but since both of them appear in Shulk's final smash, I don't think it would have made much sense.

Are you guys looking forward to the upcoming Xenoblade Chronicles X game for the Wii U? I'm a little on the fence about whether or not I should buy it since I haven't played any of the games from the series beforehand. @[member="RedScizor"] and @[member="Nbay64"] what are your thoughts?

I'm definitely looking forward to it. I'm really curious to see how it ties in with the story of the first game, if it does at all that is. I've delibrately refrained from reading anything major about the game (with the exception of Nintendo Directs) in order to avoid spoilers.

I think it'll be an awesome game, I'm just worried I'll be out of place since I haven't played any other game in the series. Do you think I should pick up the Wii game?

@[member="Bryce"] You won't need to have played the first game at all to play the new one. The story is completely new, although there will apparently be nods to Xenoblade here and there but overall it should be fine if you play Xenoblade X first.

That ought to be very interesting then--perhaps this series will turn out to be like Fire Emblem? Xenoblade X is definitely on my radar now :)

Yeah I guess it is like Fire Emblem. The mechanics are similar but the story is different. You could easily jump from one to the other.
