Xerneas or Yveltal

Yveltal, its design is amazing, it's also really powerfull.

 

Xerneas. (Thanks auto correct for Hernias) It pretty much beats Yvetal in every aspect. It's so cool and has a great design too. But for real...Geomancy is OP. This Pokémon becomes a wrecking ball when it sets up. Give it a power herb and watch your opponents drop.

 

Yveltal, though I'm slightly biased since I like Dark types and I'm not really a fan of the Fairies.

The design is so awesome, the battle cry, and the fact its shiny form looks like bacon.

 

I actually like Xerneas' design a bit more, maybe I just have a thing for more majestic Pokémon, I don't know. Pokémon like Milotic and Gardevoir are also my favorites, so that might be the reason.

I get how people like Yveltal more based on the life vs. death scenario, but I still feel like Xerneas is my favorite in that aspect. I mean, anyone can destroy something, but repairing it requires a lot more skill, which is why I feel like Xerneas is more powerful.

 

Yveltal, i like its design the colors, the typing and the battle cry.
Also Yveltal is so cute in Pokémon Amie.

 

Xerneas without a doubt. Yveltal is amazing as well but I've always had a love for the live-giving aspect of Xerneas, not to mention it's really gorgeous overall. There's something really mysterious about Xerneas more so than Yveltal (I've always had that attachment towards legendary "forest" Pokémon like Xerneas and Celebi).

 

Yvelta because of its typing and the fact that this guy is the grim reaper makes it completely awesome and also because i hate fairies

 

Personally, I love Xerneas. So elegant and magestic... and colorful! I love its Deer-like design too. Plus, I love the Fairy type.

I like Yveltal too, but not nearly as much as Xerneas. For me, there's literally nothing to not like about Xerneas, hehe <3

 

Xerneas. Those colored antlers on its head give it a neat vibe to me, that and I did not think it would be a Fairy-type when I first saw it. Yveltal is cool also, but I still say the rainbow deer takes it.

 

Yveltal is way cooler in my opinion. The poor thing is outclassed by Xerneas when it comes to viability though. Geomancy. :S

 

Xerneas came in like a wrecking ball with Power Herb Geomancy. *airplane noises*

 

Xerneas, the design is amazing and it's the first Fairy Legend. It's powerful and the movepool on it is awesome, did you know it can learn close combat lol.

 

I like the design of Yveltal better, but I have to admit that Xerneas is better in battle.

 

Xerneas for me. I love the design, very majestic and elegant.
It kinda reminds me of the forest spirit in Princess Mononoke.
Yveltal is awesome and all, but I my fave color ( blue) tipped the scales to Xerneas' favor.

 

Design-wise i'll pick Yveltal. And my fav. color is red haha!

 

Xerneas, no competition. Based off of a stag, giving Harry Potter fans (like me!) a great nickname for it, and it's just... so.. regal! It looks amazing, always calm and composed (Except for when Taunted) and it's ultimatley better in battle. One turn and a sweep is ready with Moonblast... plus I also got X before I got Y. Also, since Xerneas can grant eternal life, I no longer long for a Philosopher's Stone.

 

You really can't just say Xerneas is better than Yveltal because in Ubers both are among the best Pokes. Xerneas is a great win conditition and late game sweeper, which can easily capitalize on the errors of your opponent. However, Yveltal is arguably the best physical wall there is. Foul Play smacks the whole tier incredibly hard while having access to Roost, Taunt, Foul Play, Oblivion Wing, and in ORAD Knock Off. It has great typing for the tier as well, regardless of being 2x weak to SR. I honestly cannot decide between the two since both are actually really cool in battle AND design wise.

 

I started with Pokémon X, so I know I'm a bit biased, but I've always preferred Xerneas over Yveltal. I like Xerneas' design much better and I favor Fairy types as well. Xerneas also learns Geomancy, a move I love to use in combination with a power herb! The move also looks gorgeous in game, making Xerneas look more majestic as it already is. I love legendaries that are powerful and mighty, but also gentle and caring, as Xerneas is of the forest.
