XY2 or Z version?

I would like to see Pokémon Z come out like Pokémon diamond, pearl, and platinum. Pokémon BW2 kinda threw me off because I was expecting a Pokémon Grey. I hope to see a Pokémon Z but I don't care which comes out.

 

Maybe if they don't do an X/Y 2 they will do an A/B which would be the Kalos region, plus access to a smaller are with more new Pokémon, it would help increase the number of new gen 6 Pokémon, as well as be a place where we could find more mega stones, like the rumored latios/as stones or the other gen 3 starters.

 

I like Hidden Lore's idea but that doesn't necessarily need an A/B. It could still be X2/Y2 in a way similar to how new areas and gyms opened up between BW and B2W2. Maybe some smaller areas just outside of Kalos have additional gyms which could be optional even. Think about that, a region where you could pick and choose which gyms you want to challenge and which you would pass up. Maybe you're even free to challenge all of them and score like 10+ badges before going to the Pokémon league like Gary MF Oak

 

I'd prefer a Z version.

 

Z version, I just liked Platinum more than BW2, I guess.

 

I don't know what they're going to do, but "Pokémon X2" and "Pokémon Y2" honestly sounds kind of stupid, in my opinion. I mean, Black2 & White2 also didn't sound too original to me. I've seen some people on the internet speculating about something like "Pokémon Omega" which sounds way more epic to me.

Regardless of what they're going to do, I'll probably end up buying it anyway

 

Personally I'd rather they go back to doing singular third-games, so Pokémon Z version. I liked most of the changes that BW2 brought to Unova, but it really is a bit of an odd title choice.

 

I'd rather see a Pokémon Z, I see the game having a sequel, and I do feel like there could be more added to it, but there were two sequels in the last generations, and it doesn't feel like it makes much sense to have two sequels two generations in a row.

 

A Pokémon Z Version would be neater to have, imo. For one, they already have Zygarde there for it. Secondly, Having Pokémon X, Y, and Z would complete a 3D grid (a la X, Y, and Z-axis). Since these games are on a 3DS, it'd make sense.

 

What if they do that but pronounce it like "X squared" and "Y squared"

Feel all the math pain!

Still want Z version though.

 

I'm pretty sure the games were named to be expecting a Pokémon Z lol. Otherwise it could have been Pokémon Y and Pokémon Z

I wouldn't really mind a XY2 but I'm putting my money on Z
