Your favorite type based on design style?

Overall I'd have to say I love the design of Steel Types. Pokémon like Bisharp, Metagross, Aegislash, Lucario, Scizor, Mawile and Heatran just look amazing to me. Quite a lot of my least favourite designs are steel types as well, like Klefki, Probopass and Klinklang, but overall I'd say that if it's a steel type it more than likely has a nice design.

 

Water types! I love the designs of the Pokémon. Considering all the places where Water Pokémon live, I think it's quite a challenge to make them distinctive yet appear like one group. I think Pokémon did a wonderful job on that!

 

I quite like the designs of most ghost Pokémon. The look of wispy, gaseous and floaty Pokémon just feel really cool to me. Haunter is one of my favourite Pokémon for its design alone. I think the only ghost designs I don't really like are Gengar, Dusclops and Gourgeist, because they aren't any of the above qualities with the exception of Gengar being gaseous.

 

Water types, there are many kinds of designs I love like Feraligator,Greninja, Lapras, Vaporeon etc. Flying types, I'm a big fan of bird-based designs so this type also really appeals to me. And finally Steel types, many of faves come from here including Scizor, Mawile, Metagross, Skarmory.

 

Bug is my favorite when it comes to style... which is really strange for me. If you don't know, I'm terrified on bugs in real life yet for some nonsensical reason I love the way Bug type Pokémon look. I can't explain it... I just do.

 

Fire and Electric types! I think most little fire-type are just adorable and Ninetales is one of my favorites. I like the designs of Luxray, Jolteon, Zebstrika and many others since they look so fierce.

 

I really like normal types! They're so cute and some are derp, but that's what makes them great.

 

I like the dark type designs
and also ice.

Really creative and formidable in battle as well.

Ice type Pokémon like this. Very chic and adorable. and the colour matching is boss as well.

 

Fire and water types. They got beautiful designs. Water types like totodile, lapras,wooper( i hope i spelt it right) and our new popplio tough i am going with litten but it is also good. Coming to fire types i like charizard,flareon,ninetails,chimchar and all other pokemons. I forgot magmar. They are just amazing.

 

Maybe because a lot of them look awesome, like Heracross, Volcarona, Scyther, etc., while bugs IRL are mostly just... creepy.

When it comes to designs, I love a good majority of Grass-types. Many are cute, like Celebi, the Whimsicott line, Shaymin, and the Jumpluff line, some are elegant, like Roserade, Leafeon, and the Serperior line, and others are just plain cool to look at, like Torterra, the Sceptile line, Shiftry, and even Rotom-Mow (Who I think is the best-looking Rotom form, personally.)

 

First thing that came to my mind was Water. Some of my favourites are water type (Samurott, Milotic, Swampert, Feraligatr, Starmie) but now that I think about it, I kinda like Dark type designs quite a lot. Some examples being Hydreigon, Weavile, Honchkrow, Sableye, and Tyranitar
