Lots of us have various YouTubers we are subscribed to, whose content we enjoy every now and then. But are there any YouTubers in particular who you highly respect and look up to? Or perhaps even ones that have opened your eyes or changed your life through their videos?

I ask because growing up I never really looked up to anyone, celebrities included, but when I started subscribing to YouTubers I found some people who I very much look up to. They've taught me a lot about life and myself and they make me hopeful and courageous for the future. It might sound silly but YouTube has become an important part of my life and I'm so thankful for it, despite not actually being a part of the community myself.

The number one youtuber that I look up to is Patterrz. He is really funny and enjoyable to watch while having less subscribers than a lot of his competition.

I look up to a very close friend of mine known as YagamiYuuko. I've always been a fan of her anime music videos for a very long time now. I love her style of editing and how she places everything together, making it smooth and the videos enjoyable to watch. I recommend checking her videos out whenever you all get the chance. She very nice and enjoyable to talk to ^_^.

I look up to a youtuber called Tyler Oakley.
He has such a positive attitude and really makes you feel like a good friend. He's such a nice guy with all his work in the LGBT community. I really wish that I could see things the way he does because he's just so open with his fans. I love him so much.

    RPGenie and Markiplier

RPGenie was the very first Youtuber I followed when I started using the internet. He's long since been gone but he's an unforgettable guy with a great sense of humor, he will grow on you as you watch him play the Might and Magic series.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6O9nETPs6c

    Markiplier

Markiplier is a rising star and has just recently passed 5 Million subscribers. No matter how much time passes or what he does, he is always Markiplier, true to himself and true to his fans, which he goes out of his way to thank sometimes. His youtube career began in the midst of a financial crisis due to medical expenses he literally sold his house and possessions to pay off.

I realize it's already been said, but Markiplier is an amazing guy to look up to. He's always running some sort of charity fundraiser and goes out of his way time after time to thank everyone for supporting him and everything he does. He's a cheerful and generous guy, and I can't help feel anything but happy while watching his videos.

Personally I like JonTron - He's my favourite Youtuber by far! His editing is smooth and awesome, he has a really catchy intro theme, and he's so darned funny! The only downside is that he doesn't have many videos as of right now, and they get produced pretty slowly. Still worth a watch though, for sure! :D

It's kind of a tie between Markiplier and Tobuscus.

Markiplier has become a legendary YouTuber. From his FNAF videos, to which he proclaimed himself the King of FNAF after finally beating the game, to his incredibly funny animated videos, he just has that certain charm and character that you'd only expect from him anymore.

Meanwhile, Tobuscus is gut-bustingly funny. He got me hooked on his Goat Simulator videos, and he introduced me to the hilarious Happy Wheels game. Plus, Gryphon is much smarter and cleverer than him.

Overall, they're both great, so I can't choose just one.

Sharla in Japan is amazing! She's so bubbly and kind.. seems like an amazing person to be friends with if you're lucky enough to meet her. Her and some other jvloggers are the reason I became so interested in Japan to begin with so I hope that I'll be able to meet them eventually, even if it's only briefly. I love how Sharla always has a smile on her face and hardly seems to suffer from severe stress or anxiety from life (even if it's hard to tell from videos one uploads, haha). Crossing my fingers I can be a little more like her some day.

I look up to TheRunawayGuys (Chuggaconroy, Nintendocaprisun, and ProtonJon), Tamashii Hiroka, LuckysevenDX, SlimKirby, YuriofWind and, ClementJ642.

These guys always gave me entertainment, they even cheered me up while I was down. Sometimes I would just listen to hear their commentary and not the game.

Quite a few YouTubers have inspired me in some way or another, but the first ever YouTuber I ever looked up to, or was even a fan of, is Chuggaaconroy.
Back a few years ago, LPers were pretty much the big thing on YouTube. He was one of the most popular ones out there... I don't remember how I found his Channel, but when I did, I was hooked- He was funny, had good commentary, and seemed like a genuinely thoughtful and nice guy. I actually had a crush of sorts on him when I was about 8. Seriously. As the years passed, I've only liked him more (Not in a crush-y way, that's long over) as a person, since he's a really nice guy. (He actually flew to Florida with NintendoCapriSun to play videogames with a kid with cancer who wanted to meet him before he died. That alone is inspirational, even moreso when you think just how few people would be willing to do so.) He also got me into several games I might have never played otherwise. (The most notable one being Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, which is arguably my favorite game of all time.)
Sadly, these days, it seems proper LPers are a dying race- Now, it just seems like PewDiePie and his garbage is the stuff that all the people at school are into. (I think Markiplier is the only one with his style of videos who I actually like, really...) But even now, I still remain as loyal a fan as ever.
Brentalfloss also does amazing songs. He's kind of like Tobuscus, except funny. (In my opinion- No offence intended to any fans of him, I just think he's really overrated.) His best one in my opinion is Super Mario Land with lyrics, which is a collaboration with DemonTomatoDave, but my favorite solo one he's sang is EarthBound with lyrics by far.
I'm also a fan of HoodlumScrafty (Bonus points for representing Scotland, as biased as it may be), AttackingTucans (Incredibly dirty, and Versus is amazing), EWNetwork/Etika/The Mewtwo reaction guy (He's a really cool guy- Also the reason I don't watch NateWantsToBattle, but I won't get into that), GameXplain, and recently, MasaeAnela. (Her and Chuggaaconroy are probably the only two YouTubers I actually ship.)

    I guess Markipiler, and Superwoman.
I guess I don't have to explain Mark, but I'll explain Superwoman. I believe she's very relatable to me now in this life and day, and I guess I can relate the most to her videos. Her videos are directed twards woman in general, so it is funny.

GlitchXcity! She makes amazing Pokémon remixes. I started watching her Diamond LP a few years ago and then found her remixes.

It's nice to see other Markiplier fans here. :)

But yeah, if I had to say, it would be Mark.
