Near death situations

HaHa yeah me and my Mom . I wasn't even born yet, like we live near a beach and my mom decided top cross the road and see the road was big. My mom ran out of time crossing the road on time. Then a car literally when past her from The front like hella fast and same thing happen to her from the back a few seconds later. She said she was pregnant with me at the time. So we both almost died e-e even tough i wasn't born yet xD

 

Does indicating to change lanes, and while you're in the middle of doing so, a car zooming past you didn't see honks at you, then you snap back into your own lane, count?

If not, I have nothing. That's about the closest I've been to serious bodily harm. However, it has happened more than once.

 

Only once.
I was being chased by bullies out into the street and a car almost hit me, they laughed instead of checking on me.

One time I was at a friend's house and I think I made him mad because he threw a knife at me lmao

I almost died when I was 3 years old. I was riding in a car with my grandma and grandpa, and my grandpa was driving. I don't know what happened exactly but we ended up hitting a light pole. Out of the very few things I remember when I was little, this was one of them. Even so I don't remember too much, all I remember is hitting the pole, waking up on a hospital bed thingy where they roll you around on it, the doctor asking me some questions, and then my uncle picking me up later.

This car accident did result in some scars though, which are still very visible today.
One on my right arm, and then I have stitches on my right eyelid.

 

We were swimming in the community pool one night when I was ten or so. I was sitting on a piece of float that had drifted into an area of the pool that was too deep for me to stand or wade in, but I hadn't noticed until I clumsily got off and wound up over my head in water. I can't swim, either, and probably would have drowned if there hadn't been a concrete ledge nearby that was built into the sidewall of the pool, which I used to get some air and climb out. All I remember after that was going home and vomiting up water for a little while, but thankfully, nothing else bad came out of it.

 

I've got quite a few...

1: I was at the public swimming pool with my siblings (mind you I was very little) and these teens were there as well and they decided to tease me. Then they tried to peer pressure me into swimming in the deep then but I didn't, and then they pushed me into the deep side of the pool and I nearly drowned. A similar thing happened again in Grade 6.

2: I had an asthma attack when I was 7 and my dad was at the casino that night, but my mom was there. I had to be rushed to the hospital and probs would've died if I wasn't. Since that night my dad refuses to go to casinos.

3: Not exactly "near death", but I did have a chunk of skin on my knee get cut off back in Grade 6 by tripping and having it fall on a sharp rock. I had to get stitches.

4: My older brother turned around with a knife as we were making grilled cheeses and literally it was a cm away from my eye.

5: And then there are those drives with my mom where someone nearly ends up hitting us.

 

im pretty stupid so

this was when i was really young, i was in kindergarten maybe?? at a pool at an athletic club near me that's indoors
i slipped on the tile while i was walking and fell in the deeper water when i couldnt swim

a guy pulled me out but it was probably the longest 30 seconds in my life

 

My most recent one was when I was driving in the rain and there was a truck that skidded and caused a whole bunch of cars to collide, including me, which almost made me go off the bridge that we were going over.

There were many others but this will stay for now.

 

I happened to almost die 2 times (One from a dog and another from my cat, both from the Philippines) I'm pretty stupid lmao
One that is I needed to go buy something from the store, then this Dog started to chase me.
I ran for my life, until I reached home. That dog is now food.
Another is about Rabies, I got bitten from my Philippines cat (Not directly, but my toe got stabbed in)
I knew I would have Rabies without treatment. Luckily, I got injections. Whew

 

I nearly choked twice. The first time was yhe worst. I could feel the food lodged in my throat and no matter how hard I tried, it wouldn't go down.
I had my hands around my neck, in the universal choking sign and all my mom could do was ask, panickly, "what?!"
I was able to cough it up luckily enough. But I had troubles gargling for about a year or so after that.

The second time, I just manged to hack it up. It was less panic-inducing and I remember nonchalantly telling my coworkers that it got caught in my throat.

 

I had two incidents, both related to swimming.

Incident #1: When I was about 8, I was swimming with two of my childhood friends when one of them decided to push my head underwater. I wasn't prepared for it and went under, almost drowning until the last moment when he stopped pushing. .-.

Incident #2: My friends and I were at a water park with 'mushroom' structures that produce waterfalls around the circumference of their 'caps' with space to sit around their 'stalks'. One of my friends and I were riding a figure 8 tube around the area where the water comes crashing down when he decided to swim along the circumference, and I had no choice but to follow. The water crashed down over my head and the force pushed me under. I almost couldn't resurface in time to breathe as I kept bumping my head on the bottom of the tube. Most panicky moment that I can remember.

 

I remember back when I played soccer a few years back and we'd had a party after a nice win at Josh's place, and it had been storming lately but we ignored it. Went into the pool about half an hour after the cells passed, was in there for maybe ten minutes before lightning struck out of nowhere while I was swimming about three feet under. Gave me the weirdest little tingling sensation while I was down there before this incredibly bright flash and the loudest thing I've ever heard, and it surprised me so much that i surfaced immediately. I was wondering why everyone was screaming before I felt a spasm race up my back, and my mom was screaming for me to get out of the water. Then I figured out what happened and I panicked and hauled ass back inside. Still get uncomfortable around storms to this day. It's funny, the water was what nearly killed me, but I'm pretty sure it's what saved me as well.

 

I have learned if something causes this to happen, stop doing it. It's extremely dangerous and leads to huge problems. Being unable to see out of your windshield is not good at all.

And situations like that are indeed exactly why.
