(rated E10+ for fantasy violence and frightening images) The basic premise: In a fantastic Pokeworld, minstrel Brock of Argenta (the fantastic equivalent of Pewter City in this world) was summoned by the wizard Lysandre to retrieve the legendary Celestial Harp of Rainbows in return for some mystical items. But as Brock was on his way to the cave where the harp was hidden, Meloetta appeared to him to warn him that Lysandre wanted to use the harp to raise up an army of undead and ghost Pokémon, and destroy the world. Instead, she directed him to gather four other adventurers, assemble the eight jewel shards hidden in eight well guarded elemental labyrinths, and then use the powered up harp to defeat Lysandre before he can carry out his evil plot. Brock was shaken by this news, and immediately returned to Argenta to ask any and all adventurers to help him on an adventure of a lifetime. Okay sounds fun, umm so no pkm intended than? Character name: Michelle Character age: 15 Your character basic appearance: http://emeraldglee.deviantart.com/art/Pixel-Michelle-397541906 Class: Roque Class Abilites: Heightened Senses--detect hidden items and secret passageways On Alert--lowers the chance of being ambushed Steal Heart--charm an enemy to fight for you Personalyit: Michelle is a brave woman, who would do anything for her friends, Strong willed but a weak for pkm wo has been abanded. She isn't a real talker to strangers but when you become best friends with her, she talks and hardly stops. However the only thing she talk about is Pokémon. History: Not long ago, she was able to save a part of the world, but not her home town (Her original home town is Dewford Island) So she started to wander around the world, to find a way to save her home town, and actual get home. Inventory: Ninja books, some basic clothing and basic medicine. And a special bracelet which she say bring luck. But is afraid to lose it so she keeps it in her bag.
Your signup is Pending This is supposed to be set in a fantasy Pokémon world, so Team Magma doesn't exist per se (except maybe as an order of fire mages). The counterpart of Johto in this world is named Sondo, FYI. Pokedexes are actual books or a simple spell in the vein of Scan/Libra from Final Fantasy So in short, revise this to better reflect a fantasy world (something akin to The Legend of Zelda or early Final Fantasy) and you're good to go
Name: Annika Crosse Age: 15 Appearance: Platinum blond hair pinned up slightly, trailing down to her shoulders, blue-ish grey eyes, pale skin. She is rather short and a bit on the plump side to which she is often referred to looking "Like a Sealeo". She wears a white dress with blue and silver marking all around, symbolic of her clan, which further makes her resemble a Sealeo She carries a silver rod adorned with fragments of blue crystals at the tip. http://sta.sh/021xri9i8djv Class: Mage Class abilities: Ice, Water, Aero Personality: Annika is a cheerful girl, and yearns to learn more about the world. She is less experienced with her powers and resolves to train hard to control her powers. She is deeply passionate about all things cold and icy.(She'd go nuts about marvelling about the strength of ice sculptures, stalactites, snow). However, her main flaws are becoming easily sensitive and would not talk to anyone for a good day whole if she offended someone /someone offended her. Annika is often teased about her body size, since she is prone to favouring more fat content food, as they live in cold places. She also cannot stand the heat and prone to heatstroke, which is why she always goes around with a cloak on. On another note, as she cannot control her powers, sometimes one sneeze can either splash water/set a gust of wind/form icicles on herself/nearby people. Due to her weakly controlling powers, she would have been used by Cyrus if Eira hadn't intervened. As such, she tries to dismiss her grudge against Cyrus, but is actually terrified of him still. History: She hailed from Snowpoint in Sinnoh (the fantasy equivalent) from a family of mages specialising in the air of Cold Spells (primarily water, air and ice). Her mother Eira once owned a Glaceon named Leia, and she played with it often. Leia was like Eira's second daughter and she was quite playful and a helpful one at training Annika's ice magic. However, said Glaceon had fallen to the wizard Cyrus in a fierce battle between him and Eira, when Annika was just eight years old. The loss scarred the family badly, especially Eira and the then young Annika. Therefore, neither Eira or Freidrich wanted to lose Annika the same way, so they heavily practiced their magic and bade her to do the same. Annika wasn't even allowed to go to the outer routes surrounding the city, lest the more hostile Ice types like Sneasel and Snover were to harm her. As the years passed, The family decided that tying her down won't solve things. They sent Annika out to travel as she wants to hone her skills. Inventory: A small waist pouch with a flask of water, a silver Rod. Hope this is OK. Please tell if anything needs to change. ><
@[member="ColdTrainerKira"] If you have any questions about the fantastic Pokémon world this is set in, please don't hesitate to ask @[member="Lunar-Peacle"] You are Accepted! The counterpart of Sinnoh in this world is named Sinoch, and the counterpart of Snowpoint is named Frima, BTW
@CoolTrainerKira: That's better, you are now Accepted! Dewford Town's counterpart is known as Myokara--the place it is located is actually called Dewford Island We still need two more players!
@Wave Pearl: I just have a question: Can you use an original character that you made up, but looks like a game, character? Or do they have to be 100% original?
@ ✯Ho-OhLugia✯ I would prefer them to be 100% original, but if you can make this character work, I will consider it.
I think I might be interested in this one, heh. (To think I couldn't join your suggested one from way earlier). I'll have a profile thought of soon!
@ColdTrainerKira: As soon as we have 4 players @[member="122 Generation"]: Remember, this is set in a fantasy universe (eg. The Legend of Zelda, early Final Fantasy, and Dragon Quest) so keep that in mind when designing your character.
Name: Leon Pinetree Age: 17 Appearance: His basic appearance is the equivalent of the Cool Boy template in the Wii's Pokémon Battle Revolution. Hair is light blue (I think), or dark blue, however you see it. But its blue! He wears a forest-green cloak as a means to hide in the trees whenever he needs to, and under the cloak he wears a blue dress shirt and black pants supplied by the trading company he worked for. However, he still keeps the white hat and shoes. If he could, he would opt for the Company blazer to go with his dress shirt, but the cloak was a priority. Class: Ranger Abilities: Healing Balm, Leaf Cloak, Fletchling Wing Abilities (added): Flaming Arrow -- an arrow with a burning hot head that bursts into flame as soon as it is fired, leaving a trail of fire. Also good for use as a signal. Deals fire damage. Sniper's Vantage -- the user enters a calm state with the focus of a sniper. Arrows are fired more precisely and hit much harder. Increases accuracy by 20 and critical rate by 10. Can only be used once per combat situation and effective for two cycles. History: In his early teenage years Leon worked for a major trading company operating in the port city of Larousse (fantasy version) as a scout to observe interactions. His skills with stealthy surveillance and mobility made him an invaluable member of the Company, as it allowed him to relay information of surrounding areas, possible adversaries, and potential incoming traders. As a result of this, the Company usually posted Leon on daytime and nighttime lookout. As well, Leon is a capable trader. A few years later, Leon's younger cousin Maria fell ill to a mysterious sickness unheard of in Larousse; one which the doctors could not diagnose, and gradually Maria's condition worsened to a point that she could no longer move her legs. Heartbroken, Leon resigned from the Company in search of a possible cure elsewhere. After hearing Leon's plight and resignation, the Company had Leon on a ship bound for somewhere else at the latter's request. Before leaving the city, Leon promised his younger cousin he would come back with a cure for her. Note: the Company is called Sapphire Bay Company, or SBC. Personality:Leon is a pretty calm guy with a stable mind but this compensates for his shyness to others. However, once he is comfortable Leon would be willing to have a casual talk; albeit not too much, as he is a courteous type. His stable mind allows him to endure irritable conversations, and keeps himself cool as he needs to be. Not to mention Leon has a sense of humour when he talks. He cares for others (especially those close to him or his allies) even if he maintains a steady coolness and shyness within him. Otherwise, Leon's steady mind makes him quite a marksman with the bow. In addition, Leon is a decent cook, having cooked meals with his cousin Maria on many occasions and receiving extra Company training on doing that. He has an obsession with pies. His weakness, though, is sleepiness! That is, because of the long hours he worked at night, his sleeping hours are limited. As a result, he tends to have less-than-frequent-enough sudden naps in the middle of the day. However, his other weakness is his tendency to fall into a demoralised state if he carries the burden of self-failure. Leon is also quite handsome, as Maria remarked; but the thought of starting a relationship with someone would make him shudder. He is comfortable with girls, sure, but a close relationship... He would have to think more than twice about that. As well, he would become very flustered the moment someone tries: and girls around his age would find him cute if he was flustered. Inventory:In a shoulder bag: a small bow specifically used to make fire (a 'Friction Bow', as he called it), two empty flasks, the black Company blazer, and a seashell Maria gave him right before he left Larousse.
