I know exactly how you feel; I was a bit nervous when I first joined this forum 2 years ago, but don't worry, because everyone's really nice and I'm sure you'll make great friends here.

I noticed that we have very similar tastes in Pokémon; Umbreon's in my Top 5, and I also really like Quilava and enjoy using diverse teams. I also believe that HeartGold and SoulSilver are great games to introduce someone to the franchise or bring someone back, so I'm glad that they were your first experience~

If you love drawing and writing, then this really is the place for you! We have many threads dedicated to sharing your art, be it a drawing or a piece of writing, and I'm sure many people on here will be happy to give a compliment or suggestion from time to time!

Going through the rest of your interests, I can see you'll fit in here very well We have a Roleplay forum, an Anime forum, a Video Game forum and a Literature forum, so feel free to browse through those and get a feel of this place. As for your shyness, don't worry about that, lots of people on here are shy, but we all get along and are great friends, so I'm sure you'll find someone with your interests here!

If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact an Administrator (light blue names), Super Moderator (dark blue names) or Moderator (green names, like me), but I'm sure any member would be happy to give you a helping hand. I also recommend you join our Discord, which can be accessed from the drop-down menu under "social" right at the top of your screen. Us members chat frequently in the Discord, so it's a great place to get to know people!

Umbreon and Quilava are two very cool mons indeed. Umbreon has that untamed swagger, and Quilava just rocks man (even if he's weak to them). And don't worry about being shy and socially awkward: I'm exactly those things too, even after a couple years here, so remember you got a friend in me if you need someone who can relate! Just take things at your own pace and if you need help, holler! Any staffer will be more than happy, myself included, to help you out, and I'm sure even the regular members will want to lend a hand!
