Inspired by the dream bed thread, whats your dream home? I wanna live in a nice house, myself, I'm sick of this apartment.
A huge spacey house, I wanna move out as fast as I can. Multiple desktops in one room for all my gaming needs xD
I definitely would like at least two stories. Whetther it leads upstairs or down to a basement, stairs just make a house better. And someplace with snow. Gotta love snow. Unless you don't. But I do. I'll stop talking now.
I want a nice, big, quiet house. I don't want to be too deep in the city, but I don't want to be too deep in the country. I want somewhere in the middle. I want the weather to be like how it is, changing every day of the week~ Lastly, I want a big yard for my dogs to play in!
I'd personally live in a Victorian-style house somewhere out east; just by the water, but within walking distance to the town centre.
II wold love a nice house, not too big like a mansion but not an apartment. Just a place where everyone can have space if they want or be together. For sure 4 bedroom, 3 bath, a game room, family room, dining room.
Currently, anything we could afford, but the housing market here is some kind of hell on earth LOL in a fantasy situation, somewhere in the hills but no so remote as to have trouble escaping fires, somewhere with modern internet access, and a minimalist style with white everywhere, a room for games and nerdy things and a room just for a studio with lots of table space where everything can stay setup at all times so you never miss that creative urge. I also want it to be very new and well sealed as far as insulation and airconditioning for the weather, and to keep out insects. I'd also like it to have a lot of glass for a nice view and be far enough from a road that I don't have to listen to cars go by.
Sound cheesy as all hell but I wanna live in a nice 1 bedroom house with my hubby. Medium sized yard so I can plant, have a BBQ sometimes, or sit by those campfire like things you can put in the backyard.. Nice location where little light in the nighttime so we can gaze at the stars, and just exist... Heck, maybe cloud watch too. Moderate sized livingroom so our family can visit and chill sometimes, with a BIG BATHROOM UGH I NEED A BIG BATHROOM One of those kind you see in Japan, and some anime, where you have a large as hell tub, and the shower is on the outside... I LOVE those bathrooms. ( They even have this remote in the kitchen where you can start your bath... FROM THE KITCHEN ) I'd also love a large kitchen.. I love to cook, and I'd always wanna make something for hubby when he comes home. Dreams man... -sighs softly-
I'm boring. All I really want is a small one or two room place. All I need is a kitchen, bathroom, bed, and a little space for my computer and other electronics. I don't need a ton of space, and I don't want it. I'd feel pressured to fill up that space with stuff I don't need. Simple and small works great for me.
This. Though, if it's up in the mountains somewhere, that would be a fantastic plus. I've only been to the mountains (anywhere) a few times in my life, and I was always awed by how simple yet tight-knit the communities there were. That'd be my dream location for sure - and as for my house, space is nice, but as I'll be living by myself, I would just need basic necessities to function and live comfortably - nothing cramped, but nothing needlessly spacious either. Simple dragon, simple pleasures.
My opinion is probably vastly different from most. I don't like houses much, especially large ones, since taking care of and cleaning them is a pain. We live in a three-floor detached home right now and I've been exhausted of having to clean this entire place every two weeks. So my ideal place is a cozy one bedroom apartment at the tippy top of a tall apartment building. That way there are no neighbors above me and I can overlook the scenery. Maybe when I'm rich, I'll be able to live that lifestyle here in NYC. ....One day... I also would love to live in the mountains somewhere, again, in a smaller place. I've been in the city for a long time already and do love it a lot, but I have a big big fondness for rural places, too. The air is so fresh. I'm sure it'd get tiring quickly, but still!
I'm one of those weirdos that really likes the idea of those tiny pod styled houses. Or one of those new 3d printed circle house things? Even better if I could have one or two on top of one another or side by side maybe. I like minimalism.
I want to live in a little cottage in the woods, surrounded by nature and no neighbors or any other human beings. Just be big enough for a bedroom/living room, a kitchen/dining room and a bathroom.
I wanna house in the woods. Couple bedrooms and a couple of living rooms one for making into a streaming room another just relaxing it's hard to textually describe a dream home when I just want a house in the woods with decent Wi-Fi reception.
A dream home huh. Well, I want a house with facilities in it. I am too lazy so maybe where I have kitchen and bedroom linked XD. With it I would really like agarden in front of house if that does not work, I want roof garden XD. I also like to have a big comfortable bed because the bed I sleep in is 14 years old with matress 6 year old. Its uncomfortable. Being a little greedy I want a good quality computer and Tv. A not so big house but really comfortable to live in.
I dunno...I kinda want a secluded house in the remotest place ever. But said remote place will have no WiFi! So I'll have to live near people. But people drive me insane. So I'll live somewhere secluded-WAIT. I'll make my own WiFi. Using unicorns. #MissingNo
Well, if we are talking dream homes, then that would be within the realm of (im)possibility, but what makes you say the unicorns won't drive you insane? Wi-Fi is almost ubiquitous nowadays, so even more remote areas might still have some measure of internet, if they're at least somewhat near a population centre.
i'd personally...hmm.. lets see. sometimes me and my mom drive by a lot of nice rich people houses and i long to have one but i know thats not realistically possible. so uh.. i'd probably just want a nice, spacey, but comfortable two story house.
