As a collector I'm always interested in what other people collect! Whether it's irl or items in a game, let me know what you collect! And if you have any pics, that'd be awesome!
I'll post too! I'm a toy photographer so as a result I'm a toy collector too! I mainly have japanese toys because dat anime aesthetic. I prefer posable figures such as figma and shinkis or dolls like Azone, Pullip or Ball Jointed Dolls but I have some static figures as well. And plushies. I also, of course, have a lot of Pokémon figures and plushies. A few year old shot of my Pokémon toys. I have many more now =w=' Spoiler Figures Spoiler I have nendoroids too but I've never taken photos of them together so have a Sakura to show what a Nendoroid is: Dolls (also, I collect many outfits for these guys and girls but that's sort of an add on.) Spoiler If dolls creep you out, I'm sorry ;w; <3 It would be impossible to take photos of my WHOLE collection as it'd take forever to set up and put away but have some photos of parts of my collection.
i collect these things called POP! Vinyls, they're bobbleheads or vinyl figures featuring different things, like video games, tv shows, anime, sports, and more! my collection stands at 40, suck it here's the website http://popvinyls.com/
Have you ever gone to Disney and seen those lanyards people wear, covered in pins? Well, that's what I love to collect! I really like how cute the Disney trading pins are and all the adorable ideas and concepts, so it's something I find hard not to collect whenever I go down to Florida. For those who don't know about pin trading, you just buy some pins, find people with pin lanyards, and trade! It's the most fun way to get new pins and meet new people as well... too bad they're kinda pricey, but I think it's worth it to look at my collection of super-cute pins
I collect plush toys. Mostly the Pokémon ones. I have more than 30 of them and I regret nothing. I also have plushies that aren't Pokémon related. My favorites would have to be a Undertale Toriel plush and a Toon Link plush. I also collect Amiibos. I kind of stopped doing this for a while, but the hype came back once I found out that every single amiibo works with Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I have to have at least 15 Amiibos.
I collect stuffed animals and figures, typically anything Nintendo and dragon-related. I have all the Yarn Yoshi and Poochie Amiibos because... I dunno, anything made from yarn makes me feel cozy.
I collect dust Right now, I have a lot of Star Wars figurines. I buy those sometimes, but it's not like I'm a super serious collector. Also, I'm dirt poor because of college. So can't buy them for now!
Does collecting images off the Internet count? I've had a habit of perusing Google Images at times and just saving any landscape image I find exceptionally beautiful. I don't find very many, but if I do stumble across one, I make sure to nab it. My folder for such is at about 20 now, not counting any pictures of space which I just harvest compulsively. Failing any digital media collection, I used to collect Monopoly variants over the years, up to about 2006. The reason for such is that some of the boards and designs were very beautiful (the Astronomy one is my favourite, no surprises there), but eventually the habit got too expensive to perpetuate, and on top of all the boards being rather bland and samey, the incentive to collect them was also lost.
@[member="Seprix"] Please, we all know you collect memes. Anyway, I've always lacked the patience to collect anything. I tried Pokémon cards once, only to give up. Then I tried Legos. Gave up those as well. So, I can't collect a damn thing it seems~
I collect amiibo sometimes. Mainly the LoZ ones. In fact I just need the SSB Toon Link amiibo and I'll have all of the LoZ amiibo. There's probably other things I collect but I don't remember them.
Pokémon plushes. They're super cute and look really good on display so they're what I have! I have some pretty rare ones too I believe.
I collect scarves! Sometimes they're souvenirs (the Pokémon&zelda ones from new york and disney one from disney world) and sometimes they're for the color or design. What I really want to do is get at least one scarf for each of the main colors, like a really basic crayon set but with scarves and not crayons. Also, special thanks to my chair for being big enough to fit them all. Spoiler
My two current collections: --coins and bills from around the world (the pride and joy of which is an Irish dime--it has a Celtic harp on the tails side) --old-school bottle caps (so far it's just some root beer and cream soda caps, but I'd love to get my hands on some other kinds of soda caps, because glass bottles are coming back.)
Where to start? Not sure if I could count games and movies since I actually make use of them. (Though I do own more than 1000 DVDs. Mom worries about me because of that) Well, while not as often as it used to be due to a lack of space, I do collect plushies and sometimes figures. Here's a general idea (Gaze upon the super rare ones that I could only get via commission, including the Clanworm from Mischief Makers! You guys have no idea what that is, do you?) http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z205/nduns/IMG_1042_zpswthgk9bz.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z205/nduns/IMG_1043_zps5hc7us10.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z205/nduns/IMG_1044_zps6pyjdqdm.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z205/nduns/IMG_1045_zpsllm0p1jb.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z205/nduns/IMG_1046_zps4pwl72wp.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z205/nduns/IMG_1047_zpstuafknhh.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z205/nduns/IMG_1048_zps9xsoznoa.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z205/nduns/IMG_1049_zpslmoe6bsm.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z205/nduns/IMG_1050_zpsm0hqsvqv.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z205/nduns/IMG_1051_zpsoroknegx.jpg
I collect worthless crap for way too much money. I collect gem stones. I love to see these cool rocks that glitter with all sorts of colors from silky white, to light pinks, to a deep green. I don't have a lot because I don't travel much and the only reasonably priced gem stone shop around here is five hours drive. I have three really cool pieces that I love the most: One is a small wedge that you can fit in the palm of your hand. It looks silky smooth on the outside and water can get trapped on the inside. They are usually spheres centered around the water in the inside but this one lost it's water. So, the owner just cut the thing in half and had two to sell. This one variant was rare because it has little black specks around the water. That doesn't usually happen and it looks beautiful. I bought it for 64 dollars. The other is a weird sphere of Jade my dad brought for me when he was in China. I was beautifully crafted with two other spheres inside it that were not connected. The third is a large piece of Malachite. Its my favorite crystal of all of them because it looks like a green rock, if you shine light on it, the entire thing sparkles from the crystals that make it up. Apparently it is really rare. I bought one a little larger than my fist for 80 dollars. Due to the amazingly large amount of money I drop trying to collect gems and the fact that there are no good gem shops around me, I haven't been doing much collecting recently. I still love the small collection that I have and hope to expand it when I get the time and money.
Ahh! I have so many gems as well! I was lucky because when I was growing up my aunt had a pagany witchy shop so naturally there was a lot of gemstones for sale and I'd always get to travel to the wholesalers and get my own ones too! I still have so many and I have a lot on display to! And once a year I feel the pull of "buy more stones." I'm no where near the wholesalers anymore so I order online when that urge comes. What's your fave stone? I really love 'citrine'! But the stuff that is just heat treated amethyst. Real citrine's more green and I love the warm caramels and oranges that the heat treated stuff is. My other fave is labradorite! I'm actually wearing my labradorite necklace just now! And blue lace agate! HHHH! GEMSTONES! <333
i have a pretty large collection of stuffed animals in my closet. they're all up on a shelf in my closet in the corner. i have vastly more plushies than my 11 year old sister lol. i have a lot of Pokémon plushies, beanie babies (i love them, they're so cute) and a lot of other varieties of stuffed animals. i also collect my little pony merchandise. i have a lot of my little pony figurines, such as derpy, fluttershy, rainbow dash, nightmare moon, etc etc. i also have a lot of my little pony blankets and the small little toys you can get from target or walmart, stores like that. i also..have a lot of sonic video games. i'm not quite the collector of it as i was before but i have quite a bit for gamecube and i used to have a lot of old merchandise when i was younger but i don't know what happened to them after i moved. probably lost them or something. oh well. i also have a pretty big collection of books. i have like, a bookshelf full of books, and my sisters but they're mostly my books. two shelves full of varieties of books, like goosebumps, manga, books by good authors. stuff like that. i also have a collection on my book shelf of just general toys and stuff i like to collect, like my mlp figurines, littlest pet shop toys from mcdonalds, Pokémon figures from mcdonalds, fun stuff like that. my biggest collection is probably my littlest pet shop one though. plsdontjudge. i've been collecting them since i was about..8 or so, and i'm 19 now so i've been collecting them for about 10 years, maybe 11. i have probably over 100 and i probably have over 5 littlest pet shop houses. they're.. a bit of a pleasure of mine to collect. whenever i get money i try to buy them from any store that sells toys. they're cute and fun to play with and they let me escape from the real world i guess. anyways uh..i guess that's about it. i guess i collect a lot more stuff than i thought i did. whoops. EDIT: Now that i think about it, i have a pretty large collection of old drawings under my bed that i made when i was like 6 and older.
I collect NBA Basketball jerseys (or kits, if you're not from America). The collection consists of classic jerseys like Larry Bird and Michael Jordan, while I have new ones including a Steph Curry jersey. I usually try and collect one every birthday or every Christmas.
