SOTM Rules and Information General Rules 1. All Lake Valor rules are applicable. 2. Submissions are to be posted in the entry thread. 3. If you submit a entry, you MUST vote for the next theme in the poll located at the top of the "Entry Thread." If not, you will be disqualified. 4. You cannot vote for your own signature. This will be checked. 5. You may vote even if you did not take part in the SOTM. 6. A signature is not the same thing as a drawing. If you are unsure, please ask. Content Rules and Size 1. Entries MUST follow the theme or will be disqualified. The theme will be explained at the start of each SOTM. 2. No pornographic or adult images are allowed. 3. Signatures entered must be made by you; if found that it was not, infractions will be enforced. 4. You are allowed to submit only one signature per event. If you aren't satisfied with your signature and wish to edit or re-do it, you may edit your submission as many times as you like until the deadline. 5. There is no text requirement at all. 6. Signatures may not exceed 500 x 300, and vice-versa if a Vertical Signature. InformationHow to Vote: Vote for your top three choices via a reply in the "Voting Thread." Your first choice gets 3 points, second choice gets 2 points and third choice gets 1 point. Example below: Example: User A is voting. This is what User A would post: Schedule: SOTM date and time runs on Pacific Standard Time (PST). SOTM will begin on the 1st of each month and end on the 24th of each month*. Voting begins on the 25th of each month and will end on 29th of each month. Results announced on the 30th of each month. New SOTM begins again on the 1st. *Dates are subject to change. A signature, traditionally, has had a render, normally premade by another artist and the signature creator takes the render and put it's together with different C4Ds and effects into a composition. A drawing is fully made by the artist. That said, if you submit a drawing signature, I can't say no to it as long as it follows the rules.
