Well, today I've thought about making a little corner in which I can freely share my work with others! Now, I really use to suck at gfx but lately I've greatly improved (Thanks to amazing tutorials)! So, below I will have 3 groups...signatures, avatars, and userbars which will be updated at the end of each week with my recent works! Anyway, check 'em out! Recently added banners (drawn)! I love your signatures, Winz! They all look very pretty, and I remember loving your Happy Halloween one when I first saw it~
I really like your focal in the Noise banner that you created! A nice approach using a render that is horizontal. Good job with your first recolour of a sprite as well. Here's a small guide for making the background transparent in GIMP: First recolour the white background to a colour that is not present on your sprite i.e. magenta, in most cases. Insert the sprite with the coloured background into GIMP. Goto "Layers" and click "Add Alpha Channel" Then click on the "Select by Colour" (the icon is a hand pointing to a palette) tool. Click on the coloured background and hit the "Delete" button on your keyboard. Click "Select" and then "None" It's optional, but you can also goto "Image" and "Autocrop Image" after step 6. Save your image and viola! A transparent sprite! Hope this helps, and I highly recommend using GIMP for this and various other things. It's free and available for download at it's home site if you don't already have it. Anyway, keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more, Winz!
Update: I've recently started to work on text and borders for it, as well as styles. Here is my first attempt!! and second update! First day of snow made me want to do this!!
