Welcome to the Lake Valor Writing Prompt! It's simple: Write a story response to the prompt. The only restrictions are that you follow the normal LV site rules when posting. There is no required length or word cap, so long as you can tell a story. Story responses must be submitted to the Literature Library. Post a response here with a link to your story once you have done so to enter. Stories are due by the 1st of November. You get 400 Pokepoints just for participating. Isn't that great? This Week's Prompt:You wake up one morning to discover that time has frozen. Fortunately, you have not been affected. Unfortunately, this means that you are completely and utterly alone until time is restored. So, what do you do?
My main concern with letting the community vote is making it turn into a popularity contest. With a judge reading, that would (hopefully) lead to an unbiased and fair reading of both the entries good points and bad points
That is a really good point. Unless an overwhelming majority vote for a community vote, I'll probably get a "judging panel" of sorts from people who aren't on Lake Valor so that it will remain completely unbiased.
