Staff Post Username Change Request Thread

In most casts, if it's a username without any numbers at the end (such as Potato), we'll just add a 1 at the end. Those who have been gone for over a year usually don't have any intentions of returning, but it is still a possibility, yes.
As for how they are notified, when changing someone's username in the AdminCP, this form is presented to us before being able to save any changes:


So they'll be notified via e-mail.

They won't be able to get back their username, no. It would be unfair to the person who was most likely excited to get their username changed, only for us to be like "lol sorry, nvm". The chances of them returning and staying on the site are much lower than the chances of them leaving shortly after coming back.
In the off chance that they are truly bothered by this and actually plan to stay on the site, they can request a free username change after being active for 1 month, just like everyone else.

So after deliberation I decided to get a full on new name, leaving only the G intact. IT IS IMPORTANT!

I would like to have my name changed to Almandine-G please! I just feel it sounds nicer haha

 

After some deliberation, I would like my username changed to Sugar (I checked, it's not taken.)

I just think it sounds cuter.

I'm wondering if there's a minimum number of letters for a new name? I've been considering Vi but I think it might be too short.

I've also considered Neon Strike Glaceon, but that's kind of borderline.


All that said, I'd like to request that my name be changed to PROJECT: Glaceon
Or simply PROJECT Glaceon if that's more convenient.
