    General Information
    Name: Eryth Alyn Wolfdemon
    Current Alias: n/a
    Age: 21
    DOB: September 31
    Gender: Male
    Race: Wolfdemon
Occupation: Vigilante (member of the Rogues)
    Alignment: Neutral/Anti-Hero

    Physical Information
    Height:5'10"
    Weight:varies
Eye Color: black/gold (normal) reflective silver (when powers are active)
    Hair Color: Black
Notable Features: If one looks at Eryth, and they see a pale man with shoulder-length black hair and sunglasses, they're looking at an a form he rarely assumes anymore; preferring to take advantage of his transformed state for the purpose of intimidation. His altered state is that of a werewolf like creature; covered in black fur from ears to tailtip. Where fingernails and toenails should be; there are instead retractable razor-sharp claws of untold toughness.
Clothes: Black jeans, combat boots (metal lacehooks/bearings inside). Eryth also wears a black trench coat, with spikes studded up along the arms and over his shoulders. The final addition is a pair of fingerless gloves studded along the base knuckles with metal plates. The theory for all the metal has never been fully revealed, though it is commonly speculated that all of it is highly conductive.

    Powers and Abilities
    • Electrokinesis. Eryth possesses an inherent control over electricity, as well as the natural ability to generate and control his own brand of red hued lightning-like energy. Additionally, he can transform all or part of his body into living lightning, though he cannot sustain this state for long.
    • Superhuman physical conditioning. The wolfdemon has displayed well above-average durability and strength; shown to be capable of lifting 40 tons. As if the strength were not frightening enough, his speed and reflexes are noticeably above those of normal humans.
    • Flight. Eryth does conceal a pair of dragon-like wings under his coat.
    • Claws and enhanced senses. It is not surprising, given his appearance that Eryth would lay claim to the enhanced sensory perceptions of an animal. His claws, while biological and un-altered, are still sharp enough to slice through concrete and most metals.
    Weaknesses
    • Bloodrage. Unique to his kind, Eryth will fly into an uncontrollable rage upon the sight of excess spilled blood. While he loses all feeling of pain and his strength and speed double in this state may cause some to think of it as a power; the fact remains that the only way for him to regain his sanity is to lose consciousness; either through death or an amount of physical punishment sufficient to batter him utterly senseless. Furthermore, this loss of common sense means that he is all the less likely to use his lightning to its fullest extent. Additionally, if this state is triggered while he is in his human state, he will forcibly transform.
    • Extra-powerful senses are an extra-powerful setback as well. Eryth is extremely weak against the uses of various gasses (smell), any attack generating a bright light (sight) or sonic blasts (sound) as they overwork his senses at an unrecoverable speed.
    • While Eryth can avoid the drawback of his senses being overwhelmed by reverting to his human state, doing so naturally deprives him of those enhanced senses as well as his strength and speed. Of course in this state; he's all too vulnerable to conventional weapons.
    Personal Information
Positive Quality: Able to think up new and clever ways for people to use their powers on the fly.
Negative Quality: Has a tendency to try and bolster another's self-esteem by pointing out how good they could be (but aren't yet).
Personality: Eryth is often the one to speak out if it will involve a fight. His natural dislike of fighting (despite being fairly good at it) combined with a balancing view that everyone has the same end; to survive is one that often causes him to stand back and analyze a battle, if he involves himself at all. Unlike some who study an opponent's fighting tactics in order to best them, Eryth tends to study the personal history of any super-powered villain he may face so as to gain a psychological advantage and end the fight (hopefully) without bloodshed. In a more relaxed world, among friends; Eryth's personality-analyzing tendencies are put to a different use, often in the form of humorously dismissive sarcasm or a tendency to sometimes voice a sometimes uncomfortable truth.

    Personal History

The race known as "Wolfdemons" -ironically incorrectly named- began centuries ago in large part by accident. Some time prior in another realm, the last surviving Dragons of the world had begun a series of experiments to preserve their race beyond and cheat extinction. The plan was to blend sorcery with another sort of experimentation eons ahead of its time and create a race of "half-dragons" with dominant traits, ensuring the survival of their power no matter what sort of breeding occurred. The first results were considered successes in almost every way possible save one; they all escaped. Tales of their exploits are lost to time and space for the most part.

What is known however, is that years later one of them crossed into this world around 900 AD in the mystic land of Aethelan and began encouraging the same style of experimenting among this world's Dragons. This time however, instead of breeding and hoping the "children" would grow to be faithful, the Dragons began directly changing mature humans.

What came to pass, none of them could have foreseen. The first subject was a man named Alynishirad; kidnapped against his will and forced to undergo the procedure. Unknown to anyone at the time, he was not quite fully human. Having been a werewolf for some number of years, the process pulled both dragon and werewolf traits to the surface and instead of merely creating a dragon-human hybrid, Alynishirad was left capable of transforming between his human self and a far more monstrous inhuman state. As his progenitor in another realm had once done, he escaped.

Within years, he had sired offspring, and the new race had begun. Beings of the race were only barely humanoid in their transformed state; resembling werewolves after a fashion with wings protruding from their shoulder blades. Male wings seemed to resemble those of dragons while female wings were black-feathered, resembling the appendages of some fallen angel. Of further note was the wolfdemon's ties to blood. The sight of blood in excess would trigger a state of increased rage that would double the user's levels of strength and speed, while greatly reducing their intelligence to a primal and bestial state.

That ancient "curse" holds true for Eryth, and its nature will hold true through his children and theirs; a connection between the wolfdemons and blood that may cause a weakness or a strength among those stricken with it. Whether it is power, or a frailty as the effect; Wolfdemon and blood will always be tied in some manner or another.

Eryth was largely sheltered as a child, with his father Maloran being his only guardian in a world that both respected and feared anything beyond human. Being as they were; the two could trust very few individuals around them, and much of Maloran's business was conducted in total secrecy. Save his father, the young Wolfdemon spent his early childhood alone and isolated; he simply existed, losing himself in the home's vast library.

While his father went about a myriad of obscure affairs; Eryth remained at the mansion-like hideaway on the east coast without knowing where his father was going or what he was doing. His only real joy came from the books, which he read and re-read many times. Hey never had a photographic memory or the like, but his taste for reading grew to a point that sometimes he would forget when someone was entering or even in the room. The total silence at times began training him in its own way; bringing his patience up to an unimaginable level.

Regrettably, the peaceful yet lonely time did not last forever.

There was one week in January, when Maloran left on one of his usual assignments and failed to return that night. Eryth managed to feed and support himself for the next several days, reasoning at first that his father had merely encountered several unavoidable delays. His father always returned home from his work, rarely betraying emotion or offering any information on what he had been doing.

By February however, supplies were running low and Eryth couldn't risk even stealing food and returning lest someone follow him and discover his home.

His father had been gone for over three weeks by then, and the young wolfdemon found himself leaving the only home he had ever known with what food he had managed to steal. Money was of little use to him at the time as he could only maintain a human form for one hour, and no one he knew would react at all positively to a ten year old werewolf. Heading west, he avoided as many major cities and population centers in the earliest days of his travels.

Nighttime travel seemed the safest at the time as he was almost never seen. On the rare occasions where he was spotted, he began making use of his abilities; both natural and supernatural. He quickly found that as young as he was, he possessed considerable strength, speed, and stamina. It was during one such close call that he first began making use of his lightning-based abilities, often using the blasts as distractions. Destroying nearby cars when spotted typically seemed the best tactic as he found people had a peculiar attachment to them.

Cocytus Island became his eventual destination. Located on the western coast, it was something of a haven for other superhumans and he felt that as long as he didn't fall on the bad side of the city's resident protectors-without-fear, he would be largely overlooked. Taking up residence in an abandoned building, he began trying to organize some semblance of a life in the city. The city's acceptance of odder-looking beings notwithstanding, he still felt that his presence was best concealed.

In the months following however, concealment became all the harder. As the heroes Eryth believed would provide a natural mask for his presence found themselves drawn away by other concerns, newer, younger, would-be heroes began making their way into the spotlight. Despite recognizing that he could perhaps join in what seemed merely to be a trend, Eryth endeavored to remain hidden.

Soon, he encountered other like-minded individuals who managed to not get on his nerves. Obtaining the materials necessary -buying when they could and stealing when they had to- they constructed a hideaway of their very own; accessible only by the three of them and containing everything they would need to operate; without interference from any government or metahuman faction.

    The Rogues were born.

    Basic Information
    Name: Sucyako Kamiyama
    Alias: Marauder
    Age: 20
Date of Birth: 'Afore the death of Davy Jo- (June 1st)
    Gender: Female
Occupation: Professional Pirate (member of the Overcity and Captain of the Skyscourge.)
    Alignment: Villain

    Physical Information
    Height: 5'7"
    Weight: 170 lbs (with weapons)
    Eye Color: Purple
Hair Color: Black, red, and blue striped.
Notable Features: Marauder has three eyes. One normal right eye and a two left eyes; one above the other.
Clothes/Attire: Whether it is her abilities that boost her self-confidence; Marauder has styled her wardrobe -and even her mechanical leg- after another age. Her leg has been given a wooden finish, and she even goes so far as to dress as a pirate; wearing dark pants, a white blouse; and a fully trimmed dark blue overcoat; complete with several sashes for her swords and a leather brown ammo belt. The three-cornered hat she also wears even sports a three-eyed skull across the front.

    Powers and Abilities
    • Multifunctional eyesight. Born with two left eyes and one right eye, Sucyako is gifted with three perception-related capabilities. She can see in any level of light; no matter how bright or dark her surroundings are, and she can voluntarily see through any substance she wishes; no matter how opaque. Unique to her second left eye however; is the ability to see a few short seconds into the future. She keeps this eye closed much of the time, but when open; she is able to see ghostly fore-images of people and objects and thus know what paths they will take.
      Weapons
      • Precisely in keeping with her abilities, Marauder typically carries two sabers; one across her back and one at her left hip.
      • Two eight-shot revolvers may be found concealed in interior coat holsters.
      • Never one to rely solely on easily found weaponry, Marauder has two jitte concealed inside her leg compartment.
      • Obligatory jug of rum. Worn at the waist. She never drinks it however, as it typically ends up being smashed over someone's head in the opening of a fight.
      • The Skyscourge. It is not so much a weapon as it is a transport. The Skyscourge is a mobile battle platform with no fewer than fifteen decks including a runway deck from which smaller one or two person transports can launch (or other villains with flight capabilities). It houses three gymnasiums, an immense brig, and arguably more living quarters than are necessary.
    Weaknesses:
    • Perceptive capabilities aside; Marauder is as human and vulnerable as anyone else.
    • Through mantained practice of keeping her second left eye shut as necessary, her fore-image envisioning sometimes takes a few seconds to clear after the eye is opened.
    Personal Information
Positive Quality: Marauder is an excellent combatant and highly skilled with almost any weapon.
Negative Quality: She's Japanese. She forces a Scottish accent. She has a massive pirate fetish. Figure that out.
Personality: Perpetually happy and almost fangirly when it comes to piracy; Marauder has styled much of her life after that of a classic pirate. This fascination has gone beyond wardrobe and weaponry as well. Still, despite her seeming addiction to every form of stealing from common burglary to robbing Fort Knox, there are some who suspect she isn't so much a villain as she is a thrill-seeker.

Bio/Background: "Suppose yeh're an ordinary fella, not like us, an' yeh're in a plane crash in the fuckin' jungle. No other survivors. No signs've civilization. Yeh're stranded. By some miracle, yeh stumble across a copyof Tarzan of the Apes. Yeh read it. Do yeh go an' live in the treeetops an' talk to monkeys?"

    -Proinsias Cassidy (Preacher)

And indeed, that's precisely what Sucyako Kamiyama did. In a manner of speaking of course. She was one of the more unfortunate mutants to be born; one with a visible "disfigurement" as some would have called it. Though much of the mutant hysteria had died down by the time she was born, her parents and indeed most of the hospital staff were more than a little confused when a little girl with three eyes was born. Further bafflement followed when tests showed the development of a second left eyesocket in the skull appeared perfectly natural and not at all in line with any previously recorded deformities.

Uncertainty grew when the child's eyes opened within hours of being born, and fine motor control began developing a week after the Kamiyama family left the hospital...without their daughter. Indeed, the fact that both parents had been forced to leave for fear of discrimination was more lamented by the hospital staff than the fact that they had just left an infant not two weeks old behind.

Unaccepted by her parents, the three-eyed girl was eventually moved into an orphanage. It was there that she felt she neither needed nor wanted friends, much less someone to at least reign the other children in. During that time, books became her only "friends", and she was often seen with a copy of "Treasure Island" clutched in one hand.

The fact that she was different from everyone else was no secret to Sucyako, and despite daily teasing and humiliation, she soon found a way to both exact revenge and provide a sort of odd comfort for herself. Material possessions and obtaining them were only a distraction from her own loneliness, but she soon realized that she at least had a way to get back at anyone who teased her. For her; there was nothing more satisfying than stealing another child's most coveted toy, and for the unfortunate victims; there was nothing more devastating than waking up and realizing that all the Transformers had vanished.

By the time she was ten, her habit of stealing had progressed to the point that the adults had started keeping every toy under lock and key at night; even going so far as to take the keys home with them to prevent even those from being stolen. Sucyako, or "Pirate" as some of the others had started to call her, soon realized that she had to improve. The thought of picking the locks or swiping the keys before the adults left barely flitted through her mind as she came to realize her world could be much bigger than the confines of the orphanage grounds.

She left the orphanage on her eleventh birthday, but not before swiping a box of matches from the kitchens and setting the locked bin of toys on fire.

Setting out into the world, she proceeded to live as best she could; stealing to survive, and becoming frighteningly good at it in the process. Though she was unaware of it at first; her powers had begun to manifest, and their full manifestation led to her first failure at robbery.

Finding what she was looking for proved rather hard when all around her went black. Unable to see even her own body as her eyes suddenly failed her, she ran and stumbled blindly into the waiting clutches of the police.

Not even resisting, the terrified girl let herself be dragged into what she later realized was a detention center. She remained locked away in darkness for what felt like days; too terrified by her own lack of sight to even consider adapting. She had begun to thrive entirely on her sight when stealing, and the sudden lack of it had robbed her of all that she had to live for.

Of course the day her sight suddenly returned to her, she managed to not only break out of the detention center, but to do so without even being spotted. During the escape, she began to realize what was happening. She had avoided capture by seeing when guards were coming through the hallway several floors below, noticing the movements nearby sentries would make and running when they faced away, and even navigating a completely darkened room.

To have asked her of captivity after her escape, one would not have been able to imagine that the wild-eyed girl had ever felt despair. Her robberies grew even more daring as she learned how to control her powers, and she eventually managed to not only stow away on Air Force One, but to sneak through the entrance at the Smithsonian and steal the Hope Diamond in the middle of the day.

What caught the eyes of the Overcity however, wasn't the theft itself. Senior members of the organization took a personal interest when half of the diamond turned up in the Oval Office two days later; stuck to the president's desk with a wad of duct tape and a note bearing a message indecent enough to redden even the faces of the Secret Service.

And so it was after what one of the council members described as "the best fucking sales pitch of the 21st century" that Marauder was recruited into the Overcity

Sucyako's life was at first as hard as it had been at the orphanage. Warned only briefly by one of the more fair-minded villains that new recruits were often "studied" before their peers readily accepted them, she found herself the target of many pranks of varying degrees of danger and the butt of several jokes, particularly about her third eye.

Of course; the target was all she ever was. With her unique levels of eyesight perfected, she had little trouble in avoiding ambushes and looking rapidly through students when she heard jokes and whispers behind her back. After a mere two days, she began making a list of everyone that aimed a joke, shove, or fire-charged punch at her.

Then one day more than two dozen people found their underwear drawers empty and every single shower drain clogged with brightly colored messes of silk and cotton. Confusion was brief however, when someone found the third level gymnasium wall covered in the painted message "ALL YOUR UNDERWEAR ARE BELONG TO MARAUDER".

The effect was a two-edged sword. Instantly, she won respect, even from villains who specialized entirely in making problems disappear and other such unsavory acts.

Unfortunately, several of the victims who lost underwear in what became known as the Night of Clogged Drains developed notoriously short fuses around her. Such difficulties came to head when another new recruit arrived. Sucyako never found out how he learned of the Night of Clogged Drains, but the first time she dared to attempt her own prank on the masked assassin known as Kralek, she found herself spun upside down, slammed to the ground, and then a sharp pain in her leg below the knee.

"Shouldn't've pushed him." was all a doctor said when he visited Marauder in the infirmary.

Once again however, the three-eyed pirate proved tougher than anyone had predicted, and she was soon back among her brethren, sporting a new leg and a renewed desire for greater thrills.

The rest of this bio would go into further detail on Marauder's early exploits within The Overcity , but said latter half seems to have been stolen.

    Basic Information
    Name: Magnus Shirhara
    Alias: Kaluz
    Age: Unknown
    Date of Birth: November 15th
    Gender: Male
    Occupation: Hellion (the team "tank")
    Alignment: Good

    Physical Information
    Height: 7'3"
Weight: 1000 lbs (due less to mass and more to density)
    Eye Color: Green
    Hair Color: Blackish-blue
Notable Features: Magnus is a seven foot tall dragon-man; covered entirely in dark blue-grey scales and has a snout, fangs, claws, wings, and a thick tail that's almost always moving in some way or another. Nope, no notable features whatsoever :)
Clothes/Attire: Kaluz wears a brown overcoat and jeans; both custom stitched and designed by him, as other clothes simply didn't fit.

    Powers and Abilities

    • Flight. Kaluz's wings are capable of generating enough lift to carry him through the air and perform complex aerial maneuvers. Additionally, the force with which his wings beat is enough to generate small gales of intense wind.
    • Superhuman physical conditioning. Kaluz not only possesses Class 100 strength, but is tough enough to shrug off even repeated blasts from tanks.
    Weaknesses
    • For all his size and strength, Kaluz is far from light and nimble. Stealth missions almost always leave him assigned as "the noisy distraction", some structures simply can't support his weight, and he sinks like a stone in water.
    Personal Information
Positive Quality: Polite nearly to a fault, and multilingual. Adept at reading runes, interpreting ancient tomes and scrolls.
Negative Quality: Given his size and strength, most china shop owners prefer bulls.
Personality: The picture of civility and politeness up front, Magnus is at the same time perfectly aware of his own size and strength and will not hesitate to intimidate an enemy before fighting them; arguing that even if the tactic is unfair and possibly akin to bullying, at the very least he's doing what he can to forestall a fight. Despite his raw power, he still errs on the side of peace when he can.

Bio/Background:It is not mere chance that so many of the modern marvels in the world are traced back to the age where sorcery was commonplace and man readily accepted that he was far from the only species in the world.

The origins of Magnus Shirhara are traced back to the dragons. Tales of their attempts to preserve their race beyond its natural end are documented, in particular the tales of their first disastrous experiments on a man afflicted with the curse of lycanthropy.

That was where one tale ended.

    For a time.

The experiments and rituals to bond dragon and human were continued after a time, and in the second attempt, considerably greater thought was put into the plan. An infant was selected this time, a human child untouched by curse or prejudice. Additionally, the transformation process was to take place over time. The gradually shapeshifting newborn was sealed in a protective cocoon guarded by various spells and familiars. The creature that emerged would be an entirely new species with no knowledge that it had been anything other than a humanoid draconic being.

This time however, the experiment was met with a disaster out of the past. Returning to the stronghold where he had been created, Alynishirad attempted to steal the cocoon from under the dragons' noses. While his attempt at theft was unsuccessful -being surrounded by four dozen greater Hellkites is an incredibly powerful deterrent- he still brought ruin once again to their plans. Using his own spells, he irreversibly altered the enchantment on the nurturing bundle and put the developing being into a state of deep hibernation.

Discarded as now useless, it would be centuries before the enchantments would end and the creature born so long ago would emerge. Aged past infancy yet not near adolescence, its eyes opened to a world far different from the one its creators had lived in. Imbued with all the knowledge he would ever need for surviving in the time of mythical creatures and legendary warriors, Magnus found almost every bit of knowledge he possessed to be utterly useless in twentieth century.

    Almost every bit.

Learned in various language,s he was relieved to find that while speech patterns and vocal tendencies had shifted since the medieval times, the roots of many dialects had not. Unable to confront humans directly however, much of his linguistic expertise was put to use in finding his way along roads by foot. Traveling out of the country of his creation -which he learned had since been given the name "Switzerland"- he made his way across Europe, taking years to reach the sea.

There he encountered his first great obstacle. In his travels, he had learned not only of the present day borders between nations and the relative decline of "empires", but of an entire other side to the world. "America" had piqued his curiosity in particular, though he immediately thought the territory known as "Canada" to be a more relaxing place. Of course to reach either country, he had to cross the sea.

[Disclaimer: Details of Magnus' crossing the Atlantic Ocean are largely lost to time. Rumors circulate of hijacked ships, sea monsters, and a panicked but enthusiastic tourist wailing about "the kraken being released".]

Life in America was considerably different from what the towering dragon-man had expected. Already past six feet and closing in on seven feet tall, hiding and remaining unseen became almost impossible above ground, and so he took to the sewers; dwelling in the vast and sturdy catacombs by day and venturing to the surface only at night when the darkness would at least conceal his presence if not the telltale signs of his passing. Whether it was a miracle or the benevolence of telepaths who decided not to bother someone who didn't bother anyone else, he never knew.

It was only when the "Zero Hour" event occurred that Magnus began to consider stepping into the public spotlight. At the height of the crisis, every superhero the world over was marshaling, and a unified cause without thought to race or even species was something Magnus could easily support and feel a part of. Picking his first missile as it neared its target -a university campus- he took to the air. He was reasonably sure he could destroy or disable it safely. Soaring into the air, he managed to dig his claws into the metal surface and steer the weapon off course and back into the higher reaches of the atmosphere.

High above the ground and in danger of running out of air, he gave no thought to consequences, clenched one fist and punched the warhead with all his strength. The out of control missile blew apart, sending its air-starved attacker back towards the ground before spiraling into space and detonating.

What should have been a victory however, swiftly turned to disaster as the blast sent the dragon hurtling semi-conscious towards the ground, where he crashed into the school he'd been trying to protect; the force of his impact leveling much of the campus. In the end, while the area had been evacuated before he had even taken to the skies, the near-miss prompted him to try and change his methods. He had the strength and raw power to defend and fight, but lacked the knowledge and discipline required to do so without bringing harm to those he was meant to defend.

Of course, the several years he spent with a teenage superhero-team based in Texas was a mixed blessing. Certainly he acquired skills and tactics beyond what he'd hoped for, but the time spent with a shapeshifter, a robot, a shark-girl, and a ghost was hardly what he'd called a "model superhero experience".

All the same, he eventually decided that his expertise would best be put to use in other areas of the country...

    Basic Information
    Name: Daniel Taira
    Alias: Wolf
    Age: 19
    Date of Birth: December 24
    Gender: Male
Occupation: Vigilante (member of the Rogues)
    Alignment: Neutral

    Physical Information
    Height: 6'3"
    Weight:195 lbs
    Eye Color: Aquamarine
    Hair Color: Dark brown
Notable Features: Daniel has ears and a tail that resemble those of a wolf's, the color of them matches his hair. He keeps them hidden in public.
Clothes/Attire: Daniel sports a black undershirt with a beige windbreaker over top, blue jeans and black sneakers. Around his neck is a sapphire gem pendant.

    Powers and Abilities
    • Pyrokinectics and Ice: Daniel is able to summon and control the elements of fire and ice; however he uses fire more often because he is not familiar with controlling ice. He can create a thin layer of fire to coat himself in like armor, it can be extinguished either at his will or with a splash of water. The most Daniel can currently with his ice powers is blast enemies with a small blizzard that lasts for about five seconds.
    • Agility and Eyesight: Daniel, being half-wolf, has higher agility capabilities than a normal human, and is able to see objects and enemies from a very long distance (about 150 yards).
    • Sword: Daniel carries with him a blue-steel blade one-handed sword. He forged the sword himself and has been training to fight with it since.
    Weaknesses
    • Darkness: Daniel has an innate fear of darkness, total or not. He can tolerate having little light, but soon he begins to panic and becomes less effective at his tasks.
    • Electricity: Daniel is especially weak to attacks that involve electricity. The attack becomes even more potent against him when he uses ice.
    Personal Information
Positive Quality: Daniel is willing to help anyone he can, so long as he actually can or they don't betray him.
Negative Quality: Daniel can come off as a jerk to others, intentionally or not.
Personality: Daniel is not as cold-hearted as people think. He will help anyone who needs so long as he isn't in immediate danger or he thinks they won't betray him. He is a rather somber and mellow person who thinks forward and never back, always planning out situations in his mind. He is a true friend to those he knows and will never forsake their trust.

Bio/Background: Daniel was born in the larger city, living among the artisans, merchants and upper class, despite having a middle class family. His father was a scientist at a local branch of a experimentation company, and he came home constantly with new experiments, formulas and other things; his mother was the owner of the bakery she ran in conjunction with some of her friends.

Daniel was always curious about the metahumans that existed. He kept records of their fights, soon amassing a whole drawer full of manila folders. He often dreamed of becoming one of the metahumans and help people. Daniel's father recieved a promotion one day, and allowed Daniel to come with him to work. The boy quickly became sidetracked as wild machines caught his eye left and right. He soon found a machine that would allow him to have powers of his own and hopped in. Before anyone could do anything about it, Daniel had already changed himself, granting himself fire and ice powers along with wolf ears and a tail. His father chastised the child, but the CEO of the company applauded the boy for his courage; apparently the machine was still just a prototype. Excited, Daniel decided to join the metahumans in their quest for peace.

But he soon learned not everything had a happy ending. Though he saved lives and helped others, he was constantly made a fool with the dumbest of tasks the common people were too lazy to do themselves. Unsatisfied, Daniel tried to go bigger and better, fighting off even tougher villains. It was a short while later that Zero Hour occurred, forcing him to band up with his enemies for a while. After the fact, he decided it would be best to go underground, remain hidden, and complete vigilante work instead of trying to impress the media, thus joining the Rogues. As of now, he doesn't care what he has to do to get the job done. The public he served could go to hell for all he cared.

    Basic Information
    Name: Odilia Belanger
    Alias: Skullcap
    Age: 24
    Date of Birth: August 25
    Gender: Female
Occupation: Apothecarist (member of the Rouges)
    Alignment: Neutral/Anti-Hero

    Physical Information
    Height: 5'2"
    Weight: 120 lbs.
    Eye Color: Olive Green
    Hair Color: Silver-white
Notable Features: Odilia has vines that are seemingly embedded into her body where veins are often visible on others.
Clothes/Attire: Her long white hair is dreaded and has a myriad of beads and leaves and twigs entwined in it. She hides her face behind a large monster skull mask that has tribal symbols painted onto its visage. Behind her mask is a soft featured face with large eyes framed by the vines that seemingly grow from her body. She wears drab, battered clothing in different shades of green and brown. Around her waist is a belt with many pockets and adorned with the skulls of small animals - rats, birds, cats, etc. She wears soft, knee high leather boots to quiet her footsteps.
    Powers and Abilities
    • Odilia has control over plants. Since a young child she has been able to glean their properties by touching them an can cause them to grow at exponential rates to bind and ensnare enemies.
    • Though she relies mostly on plants in nature (forests, gardens, arboretums, etc.) to fuel her naturalistic abilities, under a bind she can use the vines in her skin as a weapon, though doing so seems to pain her greatly.
    • When surrounded by enough plant-fodder for her abilities, she is able to don a monstrous suit of them to increase her strength and defenses.
    • Though not exactly a supernatural ability, Odilia is capable of concocting and formulating powerful plant based cures - as well as poisons - for many maladies. This capability has given her the rather anachronistic occupation of apothecarist.

    Weaknesses
    • Being a wielder of plants, Odilia is very susceptible to the effects of fire.
    • Often not willing to stoop to using her own internal vines as a weapon, Odilia is often at the mercy of the plants of the immediate area to use her powers.

    Personal Information
Positive Quality: She is agile and sharp-witted. Very good at thinking on the fly, she can usually brainstorm ways out of almost any predicament.
Negative Quality: She seems to has a high disdain for most members of human(and metahuman)kind. She believes man has an inherent hate of nature, and so she has an inherent hate of them. Thus, she is rather distrusting of most.
Personality: She is peaceful and kind towards plants and animals. It is a desire of hers to protect the earth and nature from the ill effects of man's interference. It often takes a lot for her to open up to others, but when she does she is a kindhearted and valuable ally.

    Bio/Background:
Born in the bayous of Louisiana, Odilia has always been rather in tune with nature. The plants seemed to be able to communicate with her, though her parents were often unwilling to let her explore the dangerous swamps that surrounded her home. She escaped one night, however, because the trees were calling her to join them. They deafened her with chants of her name and she ran to the source. An odd, alien plant, a vine leeching off the last dregs life of a dying tree, was the loudest voice. She reached out to touch it and it imbedded itself within her, hijacking her nervous system. Since that day it has formed a symbiotic relationship with her. She provides it with sustenance and it in turn provides her with unprecedented control over all other plants.

Her parents were those of the mind who weren't keen on being allies with super-humans, and though they tried not to let their opinion cloud their love of their daughter, Odilia was convinced she wasn't wanted, and left them behind after she turned 16. When she happened upon a city in her travels, she was horrified that people would obliterate all signs of nature in favor of concrete and metal, she made it her mission to return the earth to nature. She blamed every human of this folly and would until proven otherwise. She has a great dislike of futurists and those who cannot live without technology, having living simply and sheltered herself.

She eventually found her way to Cocytus Island, where others with strange abilities such as hers seemed to congregate, in hopes of finding like-minded people. She joined the Rouges out of convenience, they seemed to have the right mix of disdain and caring to serve her own ends. She believes there is no better way to bring down a system than to embed yourself in it and bring it down from the inside. She has yet to reveal her face to any of the populous, and spends a majority of her time in an old barn on the outskirts of town that she re-purposed into a greenhouse. It is here she can get away from the thrum of the city and return to her roots.

    Basic Information
    Name: Nathan Cray
    Alias: Raptor
    Age: 25
    Date of Birth: May 3rd
    Gender: Male
    Occupation: Bounty hunter
    Alignment: Usually good

    Physical Information
    Height: 6'3"
    Weight: 220lbs
    Eye Color: Bright yellow
    Hair Color: Sandy blonde
Notable Features: Deep red skin with tan stripes, a long, prehensile tail, pointed ears, and fangs. Also speaks with a thick, Brooklyn accent.
Clothes/Attire: Somewhat tight-fitting white t-shirt, faded blue jeans, light brown boots, and a long, tan trenchcoat.

    Powers and Abilities
    • No "true" powers. He does have very thick, shark-like skin, and a prehensile tail. He's also quick and agile.
    • However, when his other personality comes out, he tends to ignore pain and gains much more strength, as adrenaline kicks in.
    Weaknesses
    • As he has no real powers, there's really not much to counter him, thus he can be easily overpowered.
    • Split personality. Due to experimenting on when he was very young, he gradually started to gain a second personality and even Schizophrenia. As he got older, he was able to somewhat suppress his other personality, which he called The Raptor, but in times of excessive violence, The Raptor will once again come out and ignore all morals that Nathan himself might have.
    • When Raptor is out, he doesn't think as logically or morally as Nathan does. He can quite easily be outsmarted.
    Personal Information
Positive Quality: Nathan tries to be good. He works as a bounty hunter most of the time, bringing in small-time crooks that cops otherwise couldn't (or wouldn't) handle.
Negative Quality: Unable to fully control his alter ego. He's oftentimes found muttering or even shouting, at himself.
    Personality:
Nathan generally tries to keep to himself. He knows he can slip at any given moment, and doesn't want his alter ego going after some innocent bystander. Instead, if it happens, he tries to steer it more toward small-time villains who more than likely deserve it. Whereas Raptor is a violent psychopath, Nathan himself is rather relaxed and overall friendly.
In times of extreme stress or violence, however, Nathan often talks to or yells at himself, as Raptor is clawing to get out. He tries to ignore it the best he can, but there are times when he questions whether or not to just let it take over.

    Bio/Background:
From the time Nathan was born, his father ran genetic experiments on him, trying to create an artificial metahuman. Although several physical mutations worked, thick skin, red and tan-colored skin, fangs, yellow eyes, and a long tail, none of them gave him any special kind of powers. Deemed a failure and a freak, Nathan was kept inside a laboratory his entire life, until another strange experiment decided to start a riot, breaking free the other labrats.

He had never seen this man before, but he had heard him. The voice sounded like on of his father's assistants. It was a deep voice, an Australian accent. Every time he had heard him speak, he was talking of gathering more test subjects. Why was he helping, now? It didn't matter. Did it? Was he a friend, or did he just have his own plans? Nathan's through process was interrupted, as the man shouted at him to get out, and to get as far away as possible. But where would he go? The only family he's ever known, was his father. His mother and older sister left, before he could even remember. The man yelled at him again, to get out, this time pushing him. Nathan's eyes glinted a brilliant yellow, before he shook his head and looked away. The man knew him. He knew if he pushed him, made him angry, he would attack, and that Nathan did not want that to happen. He had to get out, before he hurt somebody.

Outside, Nathan had no idea where he was. It was nothing but desert and dozens of confused test subjects. A young girl came up to them. She had blue-gray skin and deep blue hair, and also spoke with a thick Australian accent. She said she knew where they were, that she could get them to the nearest city. From there, they would be on their own. Nathan eventually found and made his way to the city his sister lived in and, after reconnecting, she reluctantly agreed to let him bunk with her. Some years later, Nathan currently resides in his own apartment, albeit not far from his sister's, while trying to keep as low a profile as a six-foot lizard-man possibly can.

(note: I noticed the similarity while writing, so I kind of feel like I mention this, since there are Borderlands 2 players here. Raptor is an old character, made about 9-10 years ago. Any similarities between him and Krieg are purely coincidental.)

    Basic Information
    Name: Mark Allen
    Alias: Hyper X
    Age: 19
    Date of Birth: July 22nd
    Gender: Male
Occupation: Vigilante (member of The Rogues)
    Alignment: Neutral

    Physical Information
    Height: 6'
    Weight: 190
Eye Color: Yellow, with blue-green irises.
Hair Color: Shoulder-length, messy black hair.
Notable Features: Oddly colored eyes, and his ears being mini "wings".
Clothes/Attire: Wears nearly all black, with light-gray shoulder pads (which both sport the letter "X", in bright green) and green sashes from both crossing his chest, in an X shape. Both his gloves and boots are dark blue-green and have scale patterns on them. He wears a scarf which splits into two wing shapes. His helmet resembles a draconic skull, but with a visor where the eyes should be. The helmet also has an X going across the forehead and over the visor portion.

    Powers and Abilities
    • Super speed! (oh wow, THAT'S original) Hyper X can't actually run at super speeds. He can accelerate his molecules to speeds where he appears nearly invisible, but the rest of the world looks as though it's standing still. He can also do this in short bursts, or accelerate only parts of himself, to create a small "sonic boom", of sorts.
    • Pyrokenetic. Hyper X can throw out bursts of a green-colored fire.
    Weaknesses
    • Hyper X can't stay accelerated for too long. It can make him extremely weak and disoriented, and in the most extreme cases, knock him completely unconscious.
    • His fire, obviously, can be easily countered by most fire extinguishing things.
    Personal Information
Positive Quality: Being a sarcastic asshole. (he's pretty good at being a sneak/spying)
Negative Quality: Not being a sarcastic asshole. (he's pretty bad at keeping his mouth shut and also cooking)
    Personality:
Hyper X is one of those "can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em" sort of people. He's loudmouthed and carefree, but also takes things very seriously, and remains quite a bit the mystery, to most people. Although he has a sarcastic and happy-go-lucky nature, he prefers to ignore any and all questions regarding his true identity and nature. He also never shows his real face. Never. Not to anybody. Hyper X also tends to enjoy confusing people, over whether or not those damn headwings are real or part of the helmet.

    Bio/Background:
Hyper X is shrouded in mystery. Nobody really knows who-or what-he is, and he would much rather keep it that way. Whereas Hyper X is new to the superhero scene, Mark himself may not be. There had been sightings several years ago, of a young teen running about robbing convenient stores and pick-pocketing purses, dressed in a very ragged, homemade dragon-themed Halloween costume. Hyper X has not confirmed nor denied rumors that it could have been him.

Over the past few months, Hyper X has been a bit of a loner; certainly not a villain, but not really leaning fully on hero, either. He's apparently been a bit of a traveler, before finally settling with the Rogues, for however long that may be. As is many things with Hyper X, his motives for that are currently unknown.

    Basic Information
    Name: Mayleigh "Taiko" Timpani
    Alias: Taiko
    Age: 19
    Date of Birth: August 13
    Gender: Female
    Race: Dragon
Occupation: A drummer of a small (but growing) band.
    Alignment: Good

    Physical Information
Height: 5'3" (When transformed as a Dragon she's about 7 feet tall)
Weight: 140 lbs (Dragon form is about 1,500 lbs)
Eye Color: She has forest green colored eyes
Hair Color: In her human form, she has hip-length black hair with a purple hue to it. She sometimes wears it in a loose pony-tail or just let's it rest against her back.
Notable Features: In her human-like form, her most noticeable features are; her black scales of which can be seen along the spine of her back, arms, legs and portions of her face. She has dragon-like claws on her hands and feet. Taiko also has wings and a tail. She usually carries a medium sized Taiko Drum on her back. This is actually her weapon of choice.
Clothes/Attire: Taiko is normally seen wearing loose and baggy navy blue jeans with black sneakers that have bright pink shoe laces and trimming. There seems to be some splotches of brightly colored paint, splattered along the jean material. This shows that she does some work with spray painting. There is a bright pink belt is seen wrapped around her waist, along with a loose chain that drapes over her right thigh. As for her upper body attire; Taiko usually has a deep blue and white lined vested hoodie with no sleeves. Under the vest, she wears a black t-shirt that contains several more splotches of random colored paint on it. She has a pink sweat band on her left wrist and a black one on her right. Both of these wrist bands have a single word written on them. When you put them together it says "Music Power." Taiko usually wears a black baseball cap with graffiti of her name on it but she usually wears it backwards.

Dragon form: In Taiko's dragon form, she has sleek black scales with a metallic and purple hue to them. She has a lighter purple scaled underbelly. As a dragon, she is a quadruped with large bat-like wings and a long lizard-like tail. Unfortunately, Taiko is rather short for a dragon but there's always room to grow. Short horns are on her head, pointing back towards her backside. Her claws are long and sharp.
    Powers and Abilities
    • Sound: Her ability of sound can vary from being low frequency to very high frequency. Really low frequencies can do internal damage to her opponent due to the vibration it causes. The more focus and energy she puts into it, the more damaging it can be. (Just be thankful that she's a good natured being and she doesn't kill many people...ever.) High frequencies could be used as a sonar of some sort or to deafen her opponent for a period of time.
    • Human Transformation: This allows her to transform into a human-like creature. It's much easier to walk around a human civilization as a two legged being, rather than a large four legged dragon. It's somewhat easier to fit in! Though in this state, her special powers are weakened because her internal power is being used to keep herself transformed.
    [*]Taiko is skilled with parkour.

    Weaknesses
    • Rooms with too-high of an amount of acoustics. Sometimes something good can be too good. If she is in a room that has a really high rate of reflecting sound or carrying sound, can actually make her ability self-damaging if she's not being careful.
    • The stronger her attacks are, the more energy is consumed. Thus tiring her out more if she performs strong attacks.
    • Due to sound needing some form of medium to travel through, if she is placed in an area with a vacuum effect, she will not be able to use her abilities.
    • Restricted movement: Without being able to use her hands or mouth, she is unable to create any sound.
    Personal Information
Positive Quality: Determination is one of her main positive traits. If she wants to get something done, she is going to do it some how. She is good at making people laugh with her really light-hearted humor and goofy attitude. Taiko is very caring and adores being around people, which means that she is pretty social. Musical talent seems to run in her family, she can make music out of almost anything! As long as she puts her mind to it. She is also very aware as to how dangerous her ability can be. So she uses her special power wisely and doesn't abuse it for malevolent purposes.
Negative Quality: Taiko can sometimes get too careless and clumsy. Her ability can damage herself if she's not careful. This means, she could even knock herself out or a teammate. Due to her ability being sound oriented, she is NOT stealthy when using it.
Personality: Taiko is a rather cheerful and bright-hearted young lass. She's very level-headed and can be quite forgiving. A day has never gone by without her smiling brightly upon others. She's incredibly playful and enjoys painting on any surface she sees. She can also be a bit naive at times and a bit simple-minded when it comes to complicated situations. As carefree and goofy as she may be, there are times where she knows she has to be serious. A job is never done if one goofs off! Unfortunately, there are times where she has an overwhelming amount of self-doubt. This is caused by when she doubts her own abilities to accomplish her goals. It can cause her to stall or dwell on the situation for too long.

Bio/Background: As a young five year old, Taiko was a little hyper but bubbly young child. She always bore a smile on her face and said things to make people laugh. A good heart, she had. Playful in nature and enjoyed playing the taiko drums. Since she played the drums so much, she obtained the nickname "Taiko." The young child took Taiko drumming lessons and was doing pretty well with them. She was capable of picking up the beats really easily.

Everything was perfect for her. She had a loving family. Her father was a strong natured man with a noble attitude. Her mother was a kind-hearted woman who always stood by her family's side when they needed her. Taiko's little sister was a quiet and calm child but she followed Taiko around like a small shadow. Taiko had many friends and was loved by many. Nothing could go wrong. Right?

    Wrong.

One day at her drum practice, her Teacher had wanted to show her something really cool. However, the only way to see it, was at night. Being a young and naive mind, Taiko decided that she wanted to see what the man was talking about. The teacher then led her through the various streets that spidered all across town. He brought her to a dead end in an alley way. Scared, Taiko attempted to run to him but he had vanished into the shadows. Laughing and scuffing of the feet were heard from all around her. Surrounding her and cornering her. She backed against the wall, frightened as to what might happen to her. It was like she was living in a horror film. But this time. There was no hero to save her. Not like there were in the movies.

When she awoke, things got really strange. She was in a completely new area. A laboratory to be exact. She had been placed in a glass container, bounded by various wires and cords. It constricted her. Taiko screamed at the top of her lungs but no one could hear her. All she obtained were grim snickers from the men in white lab coats. One of them pressed a button on a computer which forced a small hatch to open, above Taiko's head. As she glanced upwards at it, a metal arm emerged from the shadows of the interior. In its claw, a large needle was held. Black liquid oozed within the glass tube. Taiko struggled to break free and escape the needle.

In the end, the needle injected the black liquid into her. The mixture of the poison, mingled and messed with her DNA. The overwhelming pain soared through her veins like fire. Burning her and making her feel sick and wished that she could just end it all. The small five year old couldn't handle it anymore and fainted in the middle of the test tube.

When she awoke, she was in her home with her father and mother looming over her. Both wore a worried expression on their face. Her mother covered her mouth, almost as if she were scared to look at her own daughter. Taiko's father helped her up and informed her on how he found her. A hobo had found Taiko laying on the ground in the alley way. Luckily, Taiko and the Hobo knew one another and he had brought her back home. Her father then asked what had happened. Unfortunately, Taiko couldn't remember. But for all they knew, she had to live a new life. As a mutant. He showed her what she looked like. Scales could be seen as well as her other dragon-like features. Her father believed things happened for a reason and told her that; even though she was different, she didn't have to see it as a curse. Maybe she could use her abilities for good.

And that's what she decided to do. If she had these weird powers of transforming into a dragon and create or alter sound waves, she was going to help other heroes put an end to criminal activities.

    Basic Information
    Name: Boe Gyzmoe
Alias: "Hobo Boe," "Gizmo Boe," "Boe"
    Age: 40
    Date of Birth: July 18
    Gender: Male
Occupation: Class A Mechanical Parts Scavenger.
    Alignment: Neutral

    Physical Information
    Height: 5'8"
    Weight: 190 lbs
Eye Color: Red He has tree bark brown colored eyes
Hair Color: Scraggily curly auburn colored hair
Notable Features: A thick beard and a random black streak in the middle of his head hair. He also has a portion of a mechanical mask over the right side of his face.
Clothes/Attire: Boe wears a rough looking brown jacket with tears on the sleeves. Instead of wearing pants, Boe has a large wood-patterned barrel around his waist. Don't worry. You won't see 40 year old hairy man legs. Instead, his legs are entirely metal, robotic. And this barrel? It looks wooden, but it's actually a container that holds several weapons and trinkets that he uses for self defense.

    Powers and Abilities
    • Machinery: That barrel wrapped around his waist is a giant container of weapons. In it, he holds four small sized chain guns. They aren't super powerful and they can run out of ammo. He uses them to clear out a small wave of enemies. Once the ammo is out, he has to take time to reload.
    • Boe has a high IQ when it comes to creating machines and weapons. He can repair a ton of vehicles and weapons. Of course, he doesn't know all but he will most certainly enjoy tinkering with them.
    Weaknesses
    • He has to have material around him to create inventions. This is why he is considered as a Class A Mechanical Parts Scavenger. He's always looking around and scavenging machine parts to use for his weapons.
    • Even though he is a cyborg, he still can die in the same ways a human can.
    • His machine parts CAN and WILL break down. So he does need to keep it in mind that he needs to repair them and do self maintenance.
    Personal Information
Positive Quality: Boe excels in machine skills. If he doesn't know it, he will learn it. He's a jolly fellow and usually keeps to himself. He doesn't spill out secrets nor does he talk bad about others. Friends are special to him and will do whatever he can to fight for them.
Negative Quality: He smells a bit funny because he's basically a hobo. He's possessive over his barrel that he carries with him. Sometimes he can get a little too full of himself and tends to act cocky.
Personality: Boe is a carefree kind of guy. Not much usually bothers him. Even though he is seen as a Hobo and often directs himself as one, he really isn't living on the streets. It's more of a secret identity. He has a high interest in machinery and loves to tinker with them. This can sometimes be either a positive action or a negative action. Positive, being that he learns what the machine can do and can figure out how to work it himself. The negative being that he can sometimes destroy a machine or disturb the surrounding area or his partners. Boe thinks highly of himself and can sometimes come off as an arrogant fool.

Bio/Background: Back in the day of his early years, Boe was just an ordinary man. He worked in an underground Science facility. There, he was to create machines that would benefit mankind and help them defend themselves against foes that have "alien" powers. Many feared these beings and often begged for them to come up with ways for defending themselves against an attack. Boe took his job seriously and enjoyed every moment of it. He always had a high interest in machinery and always wanted to create some of his own. Being that he worked in this underground facility, his dreams often came true. He worked with several teams and together, they made several successful creations.

However, being a man of his current successful status; this brought undesired attention from many corrupted hearts. Some tried hunting him down and assassinating him. Others tried capturing him and failed miserably. This was due to his high security system that he had in his own house, protecting him from intruders. He thought his barriers were indestructible. His overwhelming self confidence took the best of him and caused him to become blind to his actions and those around him. One of his colleagues were consumed with jealousy and had to find a way to destroy the man who was better than him. So he requested a friend of his at an opposing science facility to handle the situation for him. The man had passed through Boe's home defenses and captured him while he was asleep.

When Boe awoke, he was placed in a large room with machine parts and operation tables surrounding him. There was a strong stench of things being dead. Boe was worried about what they could have been and preferred not to find out. His colleague and partner in crime showed themselves and bore grim grins upon their faces. Boe fought hard and tried to escape. But everything was useless. His colleague and partner then told him that they wanted to make a marvelous creation. That was, creating a cyborg. Many of their experiments have previously failed. But they felt that this time, they would be successful.

In the end, they were. They replaced Boe's arm and legs and a portion of his face. The duo then showed Boe off as a magnificent creation. They planned on performing this task to everyone that had suffered a lost limb or bone. Their ideas seemed wondrous! That is until their plans fell apart. When they released Boe from his cell, he took his chances. Using the new mechanical body parts that he obtained from the undesirable scientific experiment. He broke them into pieces, killing them in their own lab. He wandered off, aimlessly.

Boe's house looks like an ordinary cardboard box, located in a large alley way in the middle of town. People passing by would never suspect that this hobo has an underground laboratory under this box. He wished he could go back into his scientific profession but felt that he may be putting himself back into danger once again. So laying low seemed to be the ideal thing to do, for now. As a hobo, he befriended many people. Even young Taiko, whom he found stranded in the middle of another alley way. He found out that she had been injected with this liquid that altered her DNA, giving her dragon-like features and abilities. He found this intriguing and decided to help her learn how to control her abilities.
