SOTW Rules & Information

SOTW Rules​

​

1. No pornographic or adult images are allowed.​

2. Signatures entered must be made by you; if someone else made it for you, you will automatically be disqualified and temporarily banned from participating in Signature of the Week.​

3. You are allowed to submit only one signature per event. If you aren't satisfied with your signature and wish to edit or re-do it, you may edit your submission as many times as you like until the deadline.​

4. Your signature must contain the words "Lake Valor" or "LV" on it somewhere.​

5. Submissions are to be PM'd to the SOTW host, and all discussion is to be kept in PMs with the host. Constructive criticism may not be given until the SOTW has ended.​

6. Your entry must not exceed 500x250 (and vice-versa) pixels.​

7. SOTW lasts for 3 total weeks, and the voting thread goes up after the closing date ends.​

8. Entries must match the theme in order to qualify. If the theme is not met, the signature is disqualified.​

9. We encourage members to vote for their favorite three signatures.​

10. If you submitted an entry, you are highly encouraged to vote.​

11. You are not allowed to vote for your own signature.​

12. If you plan to enter SOTW, you MUST put your theme idea for next week in the PM with your entry. This streamlines the process and allows each SOTW to run as smooth as possible.​

In the SOTW, we are primarily looking for signatures that are:​

a.) made in Photoshop or GIMP​

b.) created with a render/stock/etc.​
