Brr... Horror series. Some people never watch anything else, others stay as far away from it as possible. There are several different kinds of horror, such as very gory horror and psychological horror. Everyone is different, and as such, everyone has a different taste (or distaste) in these series and movies. How good are you with horror series and movies? Do they actually scare you or not? What's the scariest horror movie/series you ever saw? Is there a certain type of horror that works well on you? Why?
I enjoy horror, the blood, and guts, I like to feel thrilled and feel the pressure this genre can give. I am a scaredy cat so I get scared by anything really. I don't have a favorite series or film, I just like to watch it.
Sometimes I get into the mood a binge watch horror films of various descriptions but sometimes I have no interest at all and just avoid them. My favorite horror movie is called YellowBrickRoad, it's more atmospheric type of horror and I enjoyed it up until the end. Most of it is good, the ending reminds me of some kind average/mediocre internet creepypasta but overall neat film. Also really liked the original Blair Witch Project. That weird sequel thing Book of Shadows is awful though. I haven't seen the latest installment yet but I'd like to check it out because it appears they went back to the old formula and not like that Book of Shadows joke.
I'm terrible with horror, tbh. I just can't stomach most of it unless it's super silly and comical. It's definitely not for me. Any tips on watching??? :X
Stay away from gorefests and exploitation films (Saw, Human Centipede, Cannibal Holocaust, ect), and instead stick to the ones about the paranormal would be my tip. Scary doesn't necessarily have to mean gross. I'd recommend checking out Cabin In The Woods, it's basically a horror comedy, a little gore in parts and that but it has a really neat concept that I won't spoil and there's humor thrown in all over the place. You might like it.
