Gym Leader Challenge Guidelines​

Hello, challengers! If you are reading this thread, it means you are wanting to challenge a Gym Leader. Well, this thread will go over everything you need to know about how to battle Gym Leaders, claim badges and more.​

How to battle a gym leader:​

Battling a gym leader is simple, first you go to their gym thread, then you leave a reply saying that you want to battle and what times you're able to battle. It's important to make sure that they don't have a full waiting list of battles in their gym already, or maybe you can't get on at the times they are available, if this is the case go to a different gym to find a challenge that you can actually get hold of.​

You may only be on three waiting lists at a time, once you have completed one challenge you can move on to another waiting list and so forth.​

How to get a gym badge:​

To get a gym badge you must defeat a leader. Leaders all have their own gym badges which they will award to you once you have beaten them in a battle.​

If you did not get a gym badge after winning, please come to our disputes thread. Please be patient and give a leader at least 24 hours to give you a badge.​

When battling a gym leader:​

When actually challenging a gym leader and during battles, make sure to have proper conduct, to be polite and to follow all other league and site rules. If you are caught breaking a rule, you may not get your gym badge regardless or whether you won or not.​

All battles are to be done on our official server, or they do not count. If somehow you can connect, please show evidence and the battle can take place on main showdown. Our server can be found here.​

Submitting your teams:​

In our league you are only allowed to use one team throughout the whole challenge, meaning that you must PM the team you are going to use to @LV Gym Bot​

You can private message him by going to his page, clicking the little piece of mail/envelope and then pasting in the info of your team from Showdown and sending it to him. If you are caught changing your team in any way, then you will be disqualified from the league and unable to fight our leaders.​

Final note:​

Make sure to head back to the league section and to read the league FAQ's and rules. Follow all of our other rules and then you're set to go challenge leaders! Have a great time battling leaders and getting badges.​
