Prologue I sighed as another morning here began in Ferrum. I'm Alyssa and I'm about to become a D rank battler. My older brother is Keith, the League Master of C rank. I am going to battle alongside my Braixen and fight my way to the top. I swear that. I am going to be the best and achieve Synergy with Braixen. I understand there are support Pokémon but I see the beauty of the battle in fighting as one with your battling Pokémon. I finally arrived at the stadium and saw Keith there. As he saw me he smiled and then looked confused. "I heard from the others. You sure?" "Positive Keith. I want nothing more than to be in the Ferrum League. I swear to you I'll fight fair and hard," I sighed. "Okay here's your Battle AR. You'll need it. It has what you need to achieve Synergy with you and Braixen. I'll see you up in C rank. I got to go. Good luck," he chuckled.

(Jewls asked me to take over this until she returns so I hope I can live up to her expectations) Chapter 1 As I walked up to where I was to wait for my league matchup, I could see I was only in a league with 40 people. From what Keith says, you can rank up quickly if you ace all 5 league matches in your set. That's exactly what I plan to do. Braixen and I don't need oral communication. I am able to communicate to Braixen through thought so it makes it a quiet battle for me. Keith rathers I be verbal about my connection to Braixen so everyone knows how much I love Pokémon. Which is rather true. I'm known as a Pokémon bully because I don't talk to Pokémon like others. But it's only because me using my communication through my head is deeper. I do it with Braixen and Suicune all the time. "Next up we have a rising star and League Master's sister. Alyssa, sister to Keith of C rank!" I chuckled and walked out with Braixen. As she stood on the field I could feel her fear. 'It's okay Braixen. I'm here. I won't leave you. Just remember our strategy. Grab and attack. But make sure they aren't in a Synergy Burst. Wait out their burst,' I warned. Braixen looked back at me and nodded with a confident smile. I nodded and as I saw a Gengar I knew I had this match in my hands. I didn't even need to say a word. Braixen knew what my plans were when we fought Gengars. Always hit them from behind or in front. Just make sure you avoid their attack where their fists come out elsewhere. Within seconds Round 1 was over and Braixen was victorious. I had no doubts she'd pull that. Round 2 would be even easier. Just do something a little different. More of a combat approach that's from a distance and then attack up close. It worked. Gengar didn't even see it coming. Which meant I won my first match. Match 1 down and 4 to go before I can have a break.
Chapter 2 I aced all my league matches for the first round but grew bored quickly. I managed to get through all the sets before the tournament. But I wasn't doing the tournament today. I was growing way too bored. At least I wasn't until I was approached by someone who I would never refuse. Travis who's D rank's league master was a close friend. "Hey. I heard you just ranked up enough to join i the tournament to win your shot at fighting me for a rank up. Why arne't you going to go start the tournament?" "I wanted a little break. I'm bored Travis. I don't want to yawn during matches. It's impolite. But I'm insanely bored," I breathed. He just gave me the compassionate brother look. Which means I should expect Mr.Compassions do good speech about being a good Ferrum League Battler. "It's not that I don't understand your side. I do. You're the sister of a League Master and fight him all the time. So I'm sure you and Braixen can instantly achieve Synergy. Because you two are so close. But I want you to consider it this way for a second. What about others who arne't as lucky as you? The ones who don't have League Masters helping them all the time. Wouldn't it be nice for them to get a taste of what a League Master can possess but just a little held back version. Alyssa, you don't realize how invaluable you are to all us League Masters. Even Iron League Master is looking forward to the day you two battle. So think about it that way okay? For me and Keith," he explained. "Nice do good speech. Who created it? Keith or you? Or both? But anyways I get the picture. Go do the tournament and then I can take a break since I can fight you later. Fine. I'll go do the tournament," I sighed. "Thanks. See you in about 10 hours or 12," he replied. I nodded and walked back into the stadium to get the next few matches of boredom over with. I had to. Faster I get out of D rank, faster I have a challenge.
