Evergreen politely bowed to them. We'll have to keep ourselves undetected. "What can you tell us about her?" Maria asked.
@122 Generation "Very full of herself..." a woman gumbled. "Would much rather redirect anything we do on herself..." a man agreed. "Very much a tyrant." someone else said.
@122 Generation "So how exactly did she come to power?" Brock asks "Booted out the elder's son and proclaimed herself the leader!" an old man complains. "The elder's son was a fine young man, and it pains me this woman is ruling in her place!" "The elder taught his son well." a woman agrees.
'Hmm... looks like we need an assassin,' Bagsik remarked in Pokéspeech. "And I really want to use my yoyo again..." Lunti added sadistically.
@Jupjami "I'm not sure killing her is the best option." Brock cautioned. "The kinenfue can be used to bend people's wills to the performer, but this should only be used in a grave situation."
Evergreen, who also understood Poké language, shook her head at the Treecko. [You're just as insane as Lunti.] Maria then said to Brock, "So what is the best way to take her down? Does anyone know where she is based?"
@122 Generation "She had to have a reason for kicking out a kind and just young man." Brock replied. "Even if it was as simple as wanting to be the leader herself. So first, we find out her reason."
@Tala "I'm not sure fighting is the answer." Brock warned. "That said, she will not listen to reason..."
"That really narrows our options, doesn't it?" Maria said. If she won't listen to reason, and if you refuse to use force, then the only option I can think of is negotiation. Otherwise, there are no alternatives! Evergreen complained.
@122 Generation "I think our first course of action is to bypass the lady and find out her motive for overthrowing the elder's son." Brock suggested. "Once we know that, we can go from there."
@122 Generation "If she overthrew the elder's son, the only logical answer would be to ask the elder--if he still lives." Brock explains. "Failing that, we can look for the son, and ask him directly.
@Jupjami Brock nods. "That's true..." "We would possibly have to contend with any spies the lady has..." Serena warns.
"Let's go look for the elder first. We don't have to jump to conclusions yet." Maria crossed her arms. I suppose we can ask for information from the people here. Evergreen suggested.
Maria and Evergreen went together to a blacksmith for information. "Excuse me, sir," Maria said while looking over the counter. "Do you know where we can find the elder?"
