Name: Evergreen
Species: Gardevoir
Known moves: Disarming Voice, Calm Mind, Magical Leaf, Heal Pulse

Personality: Evergreen seriously takes to protecting others. But she is also timid at heart and can be easily flustered, not to mention frightened. She is capable of communicating in human speech via telepathy but can't read (except for certain ancient runes). Evergreen really likes gummies, and will do a lot to protect them.

Backstory: In her Kanduin adventure with Kirito and their other friends, she was the self-appointed caretaker for her friends. She took it so seriously that she perceived Kirito as a threat and always watched over him, but eventually grew a crush on him instead. She grew from a Kirlia to a Gardevoir on the way. Nowadays, she lives with Maria and their adopted sisters Seline and the Ribombee, Azelia, and does some paid work for the SBC.

Evergreen couldn't believe she had the nerve to write Kirito a letter asking for his help. In fact, it was bad enough that she didn't want Maria nor Seline to know about it, and had asked Leon's help to write a letter instead. Plus, it was easier this way, because first Maria didn't need to know about it, and second, it would make her feelings pretty obvious. No one needed to know about that. She had promised Maria she would be back.

So she was waiting for Kirito now.

 

(I like that idea! Good thinking. But what about naming the cities?)

Evergreen did not bring a lot with her for the journey. She was a Gardevoir, after all, but even then she had the characteristics of a human. In this case, a small bag with gold pieces and her Mega Stone was what she brought with her. She also thought back to the hard-fought adventure she had with her friends, and the smaller one that was when she returned to Fayan with Maria.

 

(Haha... Here. I may be able to generate a list, or I'll ask Wave. Let's assume Evergreen is waiting for Kirito at Lalusi. Hey, we may even be able to get Wave on board, since the Aether is indirectly involved)

Still standing on her own at the port, near the SBC headquarters, Evergreen took a deep breath to enjoy her surroundings. It was a nice day for a journey, so hopefully she and Kirito might be able to board the next ship.

There was a posting at the SBC headquarters informing traders of a new trading post opening at a faraway land. It was in a city Evergreen had never heard of. It was too bad she couldn't read the posting though.

 

Holding onto her sunhat, Evergreen continued walking around the SBC headquarters until she decided to walk outside. She could see the ships docking and unloading goods for entry to the trading post. Lots of things had to go it, but lots of things were being loaded onto the ships at the same time. They were probably heading for other trading posts around the known world.

 

Lalusi featured the SBC headquarters, first of all, which made up a huge part of the port. Around it was a surrounding of houses of wood and stone. Lalusi also had a park near the port too, plus a smaller marketplace that had more shops than the SBC. Of course, they were dependent on the SBC for business too.

Evergreen was sitting on a bench near the water, thinking of what gifts to buy.

 

The SBC headquarters was unlike any marketplace. It boasted many foreign goods and regional goods that were incomparable to any other marketplace. It even had food stalls selling delicacies of different kinds.

Noticing a character all dressed in black, Evergreen couldn't help but wonder that that reminded her of Kirito. Then again, he was supposed to be here, so she got up to check.
