On the Earth, the rise and fall of the tides, and their relative intensity, is controlled by the Moon's gravitational pull upon the Earth. It stands to reason, therefore, that the Moon is the thing that controls the Earth's tides. :: So what can be done - or when will it happen - that Earth will be able to wrest control of its tides again?
What would you say is the longest game you've ever completed? (At least when it comes to the main story, in other words, if you took side quests and additional content out of the equation)
1. Uh, I don't know. I'm not much of a sports person... 2. Macaron. I like saying it with a french accent.
So I know you're good at pastries. Have you ever worked with chocolate before? I don't mean putting it into a pastry. I mean making chocolate candies with it.
I have actually worked in a chocolate store as an intern one summer. I have since been able to know at a glance when chocolate is perfectly tempered and fit for molds and dipping.
What is your profile picture? Like what is that thing supposed to be? (don't take it the wrong way, I mean like is it a mythical creature and all that)
That is my dragon OC, dubbed Silva. She was a Spyro fan character once upon a time, but after several redesigns over the years, she eventually grew into her own and has since been my official Internet avatar. You can still kinda see the Spyro influences though.
:: Have you ever studied insects before, even if only for a brief time? :: Are there any nature/wildlife preserves near where you are? :: Are sharks bloodthirsty, misunderstood, or something else entirely?
1. I did study them a little bit. Particularly dragonflies. They're pretty cool. 2. I have a living prairie museum nearby, if that counts. 3. I've swam with sharks before. I don't think they're quite as bloodthirsty as they're stereotyped to be.
I have a story about Skitty. About several years back, I started my very first Nuzlocke challenge (Only 1 capture per area & fainting = death) on my old Pokémon Emerald cartridge. I managed to get lucky enough to catch a Skitty and I thought to myself "I'm gonna make it my own personal goal to get this Skitty to the top." Things were going great, and I even managed to evolve it into a Delcatty. But then I ran into a trainer's Magneton during a double battle and it hit my Delcatty with a Critical Hit Spark, a OHKO. I was devastated. Still, I've grown to have a fond respect for the Skitty line ever since. The same can be said for all cat Pokémon, now that I think about it. So, yeah.
Last thread on this raid, and phew that was a trip. :: Do you consider yourself 'impressive', either from yourself or from others' feedback? :: Have you ever gone bird watching? :: Is happiness right around the corner?
1. Mostly, yes. Usually from other people. 2. I usually watch birds and squirrels from the bird feeders outside my cabin in the summer, if that counts. 3. I'd like to think it is. Especially with how busy and stressful my week has been...
