Boy, weird questions sure do pop up in my head a lot while I'm at work With what kind of meal do you usually start the day? Do you have bacon and eggs, cereal, bread or perhaps something entirely different? Are there special breakfast traditions in the country you're from? Do you think you'll change the things you eat for breakfast in the future? Do you prefer a healthy, a tasty, a slow or a fast breakfast? Tell us here, and don't forget to actually have it, it's not healthy to start the day without a proper meal. No matter how small, even grabbing some fruit like an apple greatly helps your body through the rest of the day
Mostly I start my day with paratha or roti. For those who dont know what paratha is-(A paratha is a flatbread that originated in the Indian Subcontinent. It is still quite prevalent in the north of India, where wheat is grown and is the traditional staple of the area. Paratha is an amalgamation of the words parat and atta which literally means layers of cooked dough.) Or sometimes cereals when in hurry. I will definitely change my breakfast habits in future because what I eat is mostly oily and heavy. I prefer tasty breakfast. Its not necessary it should be healthy but it should not be junk food.
You may call me boring and old-fashioned if you like (you wouldn't be far from the truth), but my breakfast has virtually always been milk and cereal. Easy to prepare and I don't have to think much of it, which is why it became a staple. I will deviate from this on occasion, usually when I'm in a hurry, when there isn't enough cereal available for a meal (i.e. less than 1 bowl), or when I'm simply not in the mood for cereal at the time (it happens, albeit rarely). When that's the case, I may resort to some form of toast, or more often, go for what I call a 'meal bar'. That's not its actual name, but it's a small bar that basically has enough nutrients for an entire meal and can be eaten in only a minute or so. It's a good idea for me at least, because time isn't something I like to waste if I can help it.
I don't really have a habit when it comes to breakfast. It's usually whatever frozen meal that's in the freezer. Occasionally either my parents or myself will make something special, but usually it's nothing much
Coffee, then after a minute or two I realize that the caffeine has made me even more anxious then I already am, so I eat some cookies.
My habits tend toward the literal definition of breakfast, that being "the first thing you happen to eat after your fast during sleep". Which is to say, it varies a lot. Sometimes it's typical things but often it's things like soup or a frozen dinner or if it's a lean week a handful of crackers. One time I ate a can of peas for breakfast. Well that's solo living for you.
I uh, I don't usually eat anything for breakfast but when I do it is just two pieces of toast or an English muffin. I am not much of a breakfast person and I don't have time in the morning to be able to make a full meal.
I don't actually have breakfast in the morning on a normal day. I wake up wayyy to late for that especially since I would have to eat my food in the car for that to ever work. I realize that it's super bad for my health and metabolism, but I just don't have the time. However, whenever I have a day off, I usually eat some leftovers from the night before or make some quick, easy soup. I'm pretty relaxed about it really.
