    Aw hell. We're doing this.

    1. - Catch the first pokémon you encounter on each route, if it faints you lose your encounter for that route
      - Dupe clause is on, if you encounter a line you've already caught you get 3 attempts at finding a pokémon from a line you haven't caught yet, if you don't find one within 3 attempts you lose your encounter for that route
      - If a pokémon faints in battle it is considered dead and must be released or boxed for the duration of the run
      - Battle style is set, for games that do not have this option say no whenever asked if you want to switch out
      - Items in battle are allowed

So I wake up in the back of my mom's truck (thanks). Go meet my new friend May, run up to grab my starter Birby from a screaming Professor Birch, and that's it! Run's started!

    Screenshot 2023-07-30 at 10.40.36 AM.png

First I have to go up to Route 103, KO a Zigzagoon (oops lost my encounter there not that I had balls) and talk to May, who proceeds to ALMOST KILL MY CHICKEN.

[Oops. Forgot to take a photo of May BEATING MY CHICKEN UP. Sorry.]

I go to heal it, and grab the balls and Dex before heading towards the first Gym. And methinks it's time for my first actual catch on 102.

    So this is Elfis. Wahoo.

Then I trained up a bit more and then headed towards Petalburg. Talked with Dad and the weird neighbor's kid Wally, and of course he gets a Ralts, as scripted. Him and his 5% chance.

Onto Route 104, where I'll catch Dewbert, and Petalburg Woods, where I'll catch NOTHING thanks Zigzagoons with dupe clause (Yes. Three Zigzagoons in a row.) I did run into my first Magma Grunt though, and Birby set him on fire. Nice job Birby.

And I made it to Rustboro, where I'll end this for now. Will update later! Until I abandon it for the woods!

Choco is back with even worse content!

Today the goal was destroy Roxanne. My brilliant tactic was Evolve Birby into Fighting Type.

Then step two was kick the stuffing out of everyone at Rustboro.

After getting the Stone Badge, a corporate worker got robbed and I went off to save his documents. But first, new route! I got a Whismur and my brain was being normal so I named it Snos, short for Snos Undirtl.

Then I beat the Magma Grunt whilst training Dewbert up. I'm planning on using Dewbert against the next Gym Leader, but it's not looking great due to how frail he is. He'll definitely need to be level 20 at least, so I guess I have grinding ahead of me.

You know, Dewbert has kinda grown on me. I like this silly little birb. The name is silly but it works.

Anyway, then I returned the docs, saved Peeko aka best character, and became a guy's mailman for a bit. But joke's on him, because I'm not going to see his son, I'm going to catch a Pokémon from that cave. A Zubat, actually, and I named it Mort.

And that's where I left it. Gotta train Dewbert up later. For now, I'll just post the full team.

And nobody's dead yet! Wahey! Even though Snos and Elfis never get to do anything!

Guess who got to level 20? That's right, it's Dewbert! Now all trained up, I went to go beat the Gym.

This is not related to anything, but I found the path all the way to Brawly first try, then immediately turned around to fight some other trainers to get free EXP. I just thought that was funny.

Anyway, the Machop took two hits and managed to get a good one back in on Dewbert with Seismic Toss. Nothing too scary - it would have been if it critted, but it just took a little over a quarter of his HP. Almost a third. And then the Machop was down and the Makuhita was oneshot, so. Badge two acquired!

And... that's it. I didn't do anything else. Two badges, Choco out.
