The Nova Knights. An organization of the future destined to protect the Milky Way and its neighboring galaxies. Most of the life they protect is outside of the Milky Way, for life on Earth dwindles: In the passed few million years, the birthplace of humans has moved closer and closer to the sun. In response to the closeness of the giant star, Earth's surface has become a desolate wasteland. Earth rivals Mars' surface: Dirt, dirt and more dirt. Plants are scarce, and the colors of green and blue are even more so. Very few species remain, including humans.

Humans are able to remain on Earth's surface wearing special suits that keep the body cool and undamaged by the sun's harsh rays. This allows humans to leave the safety domes upon which they live and roam Earth's surface. Most humans have chosen to flee Earth rather than remain on the harsh planet. The economy of Earth is practically at a standstill, for very few things can be exported.

However, whatever peace remains on Earth is in danger. A mysterious computer virus was sent to Earth from a neighboring galaxy thought to be lifeless. This virus is slow, hard to detect and virtually impact all forms of technology, including the special suits worn by those on Earth. The suits are beginning to no longer work, thus forcing humans to delve deeper under Earth's surface in hopes of seeking refuge out of the sun's direct rays. However; This is only a temporary fix. The heat is still extreme, and water supply is running low. Not only that, but the virus is beginning to impact Earth's ships. Take off is at a stand still and the overall power of the planet is beginning to shut down.

Unfortunately, the virus does not only lie on Earth. Once the virus had taken over the technology of Earth, it sent itself to a thriving planet in the Andromeda galaxy called Terras. Terras is a planet filled with all sorts of different life forms with a thriving economy. It is also home to a large military base equipped with a robotic army. This new virus is a threat to the safety of the whole planet. If it were to spread to the robot army, many lives would end.

The Nova Knights, defenders of galaxies, have been called to solve such an issue. They are to seek out the origin of the virus and destroy its creator. But how will they accomplish this when the threat of the virus overtaking their ships lingers?

• You are allowed to start off with 3 characters. However, if you'd like to add more later on, please PM me!
• Later on, as the story progresses, you may add a character that is not aligned with the Nova Knights
• This is not a short format rp.
• You can create any sort of alien species you want. Go wild, get creative! I am okay with "canon" species as long as they are not a canon character. In example, if you wanted to play a Gungan from Star Wars, I would allow that. However, I would not allow you to play as Jar Jar Binks as he is a CANON Gungan. Please be descriptive when creating a species. If it is an already-existing species, please link us to information on the species.
• You can create any sort of weapon you want. If you want to use a gun that shoots electrified frogs that hop around on the enemy, I'm cool with that. If I feel anything is too overpowered, I'll privately message you! Please be descriptive when creating a weapon.
• Your character cannot start off as a paladin, but may be promoted to one later on.
• Do not kill another person's character without their permission.
• In battles, your character will probably take damage. No one is invincible!
• Please try to post once every two weeks.

The Nova Knights are a sort of extragalactic military force, albeit they do not have a tie to one galaxy that is stronger than another. One must show great mental fortitude and strength if they wish to be recruited as a Nova Knight. The Knights do not have a base on any planet. Instead, they are housed is a massive ship that constantly orbits about in the various galaxies that it protects. It is unknown how many Nova Knights there actually are.

The NKs do not discriminate. They accept any species from all walks of life as long as they have the desired traits. The NKs can be broken down into three types: Paladins, soldiers and scribes:

PALADINS are seasoned soldiers that have proven their worth to the organization. They are the leaders of squads, oversee training and often do the planning of battles. There is not a large number of paladins. Your character cannot start off as a paladin, but may be promoted to one later on.

SOLDIERS are the most plentiful. They are your standard ground troops fit for battle. They are ready for combat and are equipped with weapons and combat knowledge. Groups of soldiers are lead by paladins.

SCRIBES are the least equipped for a battle. This type of Nova Knight is not fit for battle. Instead, they are the information gatherers. They gather information on planets, ships, weapons and their enemies. Scribes are to be protected and are to only fight when necessary.

ZORON: The leader of the Nova Knights is a fierce man named Zoron. He is a reptilian alien species with red-orange skin and a humanoid form. Spikes row his jawline and horns curve back over his head, towering over the long black dreadlocks he sports. His brow is square and heavy, although absolutely NO hair grows on his face. His eyes are a bright green and yellow warpaint decorates his brooding face. Despite his frightening appearance, he's an easygoing man with a booming laugh. He is loved and respected by the Nova Knights for his fairness and levelheadedness.

EARTH: A desolate planet that few humans remain on due to its closeness to the hot sun. The people who remain there must wear special suits in order to live. The economy does not thrive. The surface is nothing but dust and heat, only reptiles are able to live without aid.

STARSHIP ASTRELLA: The massive ship home to the Nova Knights. Despite it's ability to house thousands of people, do not mistake it for an easy target: It is equipped with missiles, lasers, forcefields and smaller fighter jets to attack any oncoming threat. It is able to travel and light speed.

TERRAS: A planet in the galaxy Andromeda. It is home to various types of alien species and humans alike. It's economy booms. It is known as the Silver Planet, as practically everything shimmers. Every building is made from from a metal that is reflective. This planet is home to a massive robotic military force.
