Welcome to the Infinity Gauntlet, a version of the nuzlocke challenge inspired by Infinity War. This post will contain Infinity War spoilers. In this challenge, you play as Thanos, trying to bring balance to the Pokémon universe. There aren't enough infinite resources for everyone in this game. Here are the rules: Permadeath is in effect. If one of your Pokémon faints, it is permanently dead. You can catch or release it. If all of your Pokémon die, you lose. Since you are Thanos, and he randomly and dispassionately selects which people die, you are recommended to play a Randomized version of a game. Staying loyal to the theme, you must KO half of the Pokémon on the route and catch the other half. Alternate between encounters. The first survives, the second dies, the third survives, the fourth dies, and so on. If there is an odd number, you can either keep this pattern or flip a coin. The hardest choices require the strongest wills. After you win each badge/infinity stone, you must release the Pokémon you used most in that battle. The Soul Stone was the fourth stone, so after you win that badge, you must release two of your favorite Pokémon. Fun isn't something one considers when balancing the universe, but this does put a smile on my face. Like the three teams Thanos fought, you must change your team as much as possible every three gyms. The last two infinity stones will be fierce battles. It will take you two badges to get one stone. Legendary Pokémon are obstacles that stand in your way to bring balance to the universe. They must be destroyed. Once you have gathered all the Infinity Stones (all 8 badges), you can catch Legendary Pokémon instead of kill them. The universe awaits your mercy, Lord Thanos.
Can confirm, not even at the first gym yet and had a lot of trouble. This challenge will wreck, especially if you do it with all the random settings like I did xD
