I absolutely agree, I guess they just don't feel the need to make a new one right now, given MK8 is still a very modern game and has no real faults. I also doubt we're gonna see DLC - this is the DLC game, essentially. Adding DLC to DLC might be a bit odd but I wouldn't be opposed, genuinely. Mario Kart DLC has always been fantastic and very much worth the money, it's just a shame when your friends aren't able to get a hold of it.
