As an artist, I hate perspective. In fact it's the bane of my art existence. Yet its also necessary to have interesting pieces. Is perspective easy for you to come by? Or is it something you struggle with? My comfort zone is drawing things facing left. I try to mess with perspective but it makes me so frustrated I give up a lot. Definitely a thing I need to study up on.
Oh I agree, perspective is hard. Looking at a lot of references helps me when I'm especially struggling with it. And it comes with practice too, so just keeping on drawing is a good way to improve.
Ughhh! Perspective is my mortal enemy! I dont have a preferred direction for drawing people/animals but foreshortening limbs, buildings and backgrounds with perspective are just so difficult. I will keep trying though!!
Same here. I always draw things facing forward, but tilted slightly left. And the lighting is from top left to bottom right. Help.
I'm, uhhh, okay with perspective I guess? Like I'm not amazing at it, bit I know the basics. Sometimes I struggle with background perspective though. This is especially obvious when I -attempt- to draw buildings and other similar objects.
I tend to draw things either head on or facing the right of the page. I don't think that I'm really ready to start working on more unique perspectives yet.
I'm pretty much used to having a character's head face the front, so I'd struggle with side views. However, the opposite is true while working with feral characters, such as the majority of Pokémon.
