The Final Chapter: Part 2 of 2 Spoiler Alright let's go! Let's see what you have to bring. ... What, you just got tired of randomizing here so you quit? You can't just keep your old Moemon like that! Well that's a bit better I suppose Ah, now we're getting into slightly scary territory. Bringing in all the starters. And topping it off with Paranerd. Or you just suck. Idk you decide. Alright, Drake's up next! Let's-a go! I mean okay that's dangerous I suppose. Did I miss the annual "bring your own Walrein" day? (he actually has not one, but two Walrein, but I forgot to take a screenshot of the second one) Thank god I got that Bonemerang at the last minute. Oh wow Ninetales looks so cool I'm glad I got to see it before the end of the run! Alright then... Kinda nervous. yo whaddup Nobody even acknowledges you as a Champion, Steven is the true Hoenn master. Get back to your gym, ya nerd. Okay already starting off with something really tough, this could mean trouble. So it seems we both started off with the same Moemon, a little Cyndaquil. Glad to see you've managed to keep it alive, at least. ... Are you for real with this? I mean okay, whatever... Okay at least you've got some decent 'mons waiting still. That's it? The ace of your team, the final challenge I must overcome to win this nuzlocke... Is a Spinda??? Well, guess that's game! So, in hindsight, I suppose I shouldn't have leveled up that much for the Elite Four. I was thinking that, still being nearly 10 levels under the opponent's maximum, I'd be in for quite a challenge, but honestly, this was the least worrying part of the entire Nuzlocke. That, and the Champion was kind of a joke, with a Luvdisc, Farfetch'd, and a god damn Spinda. Well, I'm glad to say this is my first fully completed Nuzlocke ever (usually I just lose interest halfway through). Thanks to everyone who read it with me, and cheered me on! To be continued...
Epilogue Spoiler And so, Doofus completed his adventure. Many came, many went, but in the end, he was able to pull through. Good on ya, Doofus. May you finally be able to take a break from the horrible deaths you have had to witness. In memory of: Eurydice the Cyndaquil The start to a great adventure Alexandra the Trapinch A helpful hand Maia the Houndour Left before her time Camilla the Spheal The cutest powerhouse ever Kyllikki the Venonat An unfair death Kumari the Mankey Never got a chance to shine Sandhya the Mantine A short-lived story Proserpine the Sableye Many expectations, little reality Gwydion the Nidoking A partner in crime Chandra the Vigoroth So close, yet so far Ukko the Rhyhorn Just once Nikephoros the Hitmonchan Fists of fury Vishnu the Pichu Not even once Faunus the Scyther Didn't have the time she wanted Shivali the Xatu Light at the end of the tunnel Pramoda the Electrode A great assistant Jayanti the Swalot Almost made it Vidya the Shedinja The one hit wonder Polyxene the Poliwrath The hero we needed Ashtad the Delibird Still just a Delibird Artemis the Absol Your greatest nightmare Nina the Nidoqueen Never left my side Melania the Swellow Wings of freedom And, of course: SmashRocko the Slowpoke Couldn't have done it without you. The end. So now what? Another run? I'm done for another challenge, please tell me any good ideas you have!
Well, there are still my other suggestions from your status update when you asked. I'd be interested in seeing those
I would love to see more of the Moemon runs or some interesting randomizer nuzlockes. They are very interesting to read about
I'm going to do one non-nuzlocke run first, and then another nuzlocke. I like to have the variety between them. Some ideas I've had for regular runs: - Rainbow challenge (one Pokémon of each color of the rainbow) - No evolution run - Pokémon-restricting runs (kind of a weird name, basically the Pokémon you can use are restricted by something in their Pokédex entry, such as color, size weight, or even only being able to use certain Pokédex numbers) - Whatever other people come up with I'd like to try out Pokémon Glazed as my next game, so let me know what kind of challenge run you're most excited for!
I would love to see either a rainbow run or the no evolution run, they both seem challenging but offer a bit of fun as well.
I think that maybe a Mono-Color run would be cool (and appropiate, as you may know, or will later discover). Glazed is a fun game. I beat it last month, and was pleased with it.
Congrats on finishing. You could always try restricting your Pokémon by type, or a pokdex one n the same vein, those are usually pretty interesting
