    First gameplay journal thread! This will focus just on my 4th run through Pokémon HeartGold.

    Most updates will be the short and sweet type, unless a battle I had was really eventful or tough af.

    Anyways, here's the first day's log:

    Playing as the female MC, though I am using the Japanese default Kotone and not Lyra as her name.

    I decided to have a little fun with this run and name the rival Shiruba (Silver in romaji) as well.

    Starter: Totodile -- Nickname: Kami
    IT HAS HIGH ATTACK AND LOW SPECIAL ATTACK LOL. But I know later in the game it may come in handy because I want to teach it Ice Fang.

    Things Accomplished: got to Route 30 and beat the infamous Youngster Joey! I also caught a Sentret that I named Ferret.
