Alyssa remained silent for the time being, looking over the sheet twice, and then three times to see if there was anything she missed. She was relatively nervous as well.
@Sugar Once everyone had a sheet, Ash went on "Okay...you are basically designing a character you will portray in public. When designing your Digimiri, if you wouldn't want to encounter your character in public, don't design it that way. First, fill in the basic stats--how tall they are, their physical build, hair color and style, eye color, and so on. Then describe their personality, and most importantly, how you imagine them to sound." He pointed out a large space at the bottom. "You can even draw what you imagine your Digimiri to look like, if you wish. Their name will come from an elemental and a theme color, if you have one.
Alyssa tapped her pen against her desk, trying to figure out how her character was going to look. After mumbling to herself for what seemed like hours, she slowly but surely fills out her character's stats. She eventually gets to the blank space on the bottom. Once again, thinking about what to do, she very carefully begins drawing her character...
(Alyssa's character is about 5'9", in decent physical shape, and straight, red hair with brown eyes. A little bit plain, but it's the best she can do.)
@Sugar Ash strolled down the row, observing the class making their characters. "Not bad..." he told Alyssa.
"I think it looks really good. You're really great at designing your characters the way you like them." Alyssa's voice gave words of encouragement.
@Sugar "Now for the billion credit question..." Ash addressed the class. "If you're still working you can keep working. But for those of you that are done--how do you imagine your character to sound? This will be the basis for its name."
Alyssa nearly jumped out of her seat. "Shy, yet very, very confident and always up for a challenge" Alyssa said in her head over and over again.
Alyssa nervously sat back down. "I guess I can tell you guys a little bit." She was very anxious to tell the class.
Alyssa walked up to the front of the class and began with her character presentation, beginning with the basics and going from there.
@Sugar "I think a good name for your character could be Digiwing." Ash suggested. "Although if you don't like that, we can try something else."
"Sounds like a decently name for your character. It even sounds confident when you say it out loud, don't you think?" Alyssa agreed fully with her voice. "I think it sounds wonderful" she said.
@Sugar "All that's left to do is describe Digiwing's voice--this will tell the techies how to tune the vocoder to make her voice." Ash explained as he retrieved a vocoder and a headset. Each student was going to demo their character before their classmates.
Alyssa's voice once again gave some encouraging words. "You can do this Alyssa. Just describe your characters strong, confident voice."
@Sugar "Strong and confident..." Ash mused as he tuned the vocoder. After putting it on a headset, he gave it to Alyssa. "All right, let's see you demonstrate the song with Digiwing. (the song you will be performing)
The song was upbeat, just like Alyssa wanted it to be. She hopped up towards the front of the class and begun her demonstration. Three toe taps later and she was on full blast.
@Sugar The class roared with applause when Alyssa, as Digiwing, finished the song. "Now do it as Digifire!" someone asked Ash. Ash nodded, snapped on his own headset, and Digifire's iconic costume--a beautiful sparkling orange, yellow and red costume. After starting the music again, he started his own rendition of the song. (Ash's version as Digifire)
