(I really love the dance Luka does in this one, it's so fun. Alyssa can almost imitate it perfectly.)
Martine watched as Alyssa started her dance. This melody was, at least, much more jumpy than the one Martine danced to earlier.
Alyssa had the whole room dancing at this point. The fast paced rhythm and iconic dance featured in it threw everyone for a loop. She had the moves to keep pace with every single step and move the song had, showing everyone what she had.
@Sugar The crowd roared when the song ended. Many in the crowd even asked for an encore. (move on to something else?)
@Sugar @122 Generation There were a bewildering array of games in the arcade. From timeless classics to more obscure favorites, there was something for everyone.
Alyssa's eyes wandered from one side of the room to the other. She didn't quite know where to go next. Her eyes were drifting, searching for something different.
(I'm thinking instrument rhythm games) Martine approached what appeared to be a full drum set in front of a screen, except all the materials were made of rubber save for the drumsticks. "I was never good at these, but I'd still give this a shot any day!" she squealed.
Alyssa took a seat nearby and looked at how neatly the drums were setup. "Well, go ahead and pick up those sticks! Drums don't play themselves." She challenged Martine. Alyssa wanted to see if her friend could do something special.
"What? But I'm not good at this!" Martine protested. Still, she deposited a credit into the arcade machine, picked out a random Shona, and tried her luck. (Just imagine Martine failing at this. I actually went to Tokyo to play this thing, and it was super hard for me. I couldn't nail the highhat)
@122 Generation The notes came much too quickly for Martine, and she quickly failed the song. But the gathered crowd gave her some polite applause for her attempt.
