@Sugar @122 Generation "In the midst of all the festivities, she slipped Eamon a potion of sleeping." Brock intones over an ominous riff. "She next convinced the people that one of the princes was the hero that had saved them all."
@Sugar @122 Generation Brock was not done yet with the evil queen's plot. "Once sure Eamon was asleep, the queen pushed him into the moat, where he drifted out to the ocean." Angry murmurs waft through the square, but Brock quickly assures the crowd. "Luckily, Eamon was rescued by a ship that was sailing that way. After having his wounds tended to and having a hot meal, he told them to take him to the Lonely Island. The captain knew where the Lonely Island was, and gladly agreed to take him there."
@Sugar @122 Generation "The queen of the Lonely Island was standing on the shore as the ship arrived." Brock narrates. “Welcome home." Serena smiles in character. "What took you so long to return?” “The wife of the king you saved threw me into the sea after I had saved them both.” Ash explains as Eamon. “Well, what goes around will eventually come back around.” Serena replies in character. "Usually a little too quickly." someone comments, making the square howl with laughter. Even Miracolore was laughing at the quip.
@Sugar @122 Generation Eventually Brock collected himself. "Now, where were we?" he muses as he plays a few uncertain notes on the guitar. He remembers where he is. "Oh...some time passed after this. A few months later, Eamon returned from a hunt to find his mother crying again. This time, it was the rival king's son who wanted to attack the king his mother had saved.
@Sugar @122 Generation "Just like before, Eamon came to rescue his friend a second time." Brock went on. "The queen was even more jealous then before, never mind her two sons had hidden like frightened Growlithes the whole time."
@Sugar @122 Generation "Like we said before--what goes around, comes around." Brock agrees. "Usually a little too quickly!" Ash adds, to some laughter."
@Sugar @122 Generation (once a running gag is established, Miracolore will run with it, but not run the gag into the ground)
@Sugar @122 Generation Brock next played an ominous riff. "The queen decided to give Eamon an impossible task--this way, she assumed, he would be out of her hair long enough for her to put one of her cowardly sons on the throne."
@Sugar @122 Generation "So the queen faked sick." Brock deadpans. "When the king asked what was the matter, the queen said that she was very sick, and only a bottle of the Water of Life from the Well at the World's End could cure her."
