The lights came up on the interior of a majestic theater. "The theater was packed to the brim as all the kingdom turned out for the play's premiere--and Captain Vernet was poised to become its new ruler!" Melody narrated.

The stagehands, meanwhile, tied up Alyssa and Martine enough for Tintri to undo their knots at the proper time.

The lights came up on the boy playing Captain Vernet and a female extra in the royal box. "It's time." the boy began.

The extra nodded as a flourish of trumpets went up, getting the crowd's attention. She then spoke in a fairly convincing mimic of Alyssa's voice. "Attention, people of the land! Due to the stress of my royal duties, which have overwhelmed a delicate lily like me...I am honored and privileged to present your new king..."

"Hold it right there!" Brock called from offstage.

The crowd murmured as Ash, Misty, and Brock hurried onstage. "Citizens of the land, we came to warn you!" Misty called.

"That's not really the princess you're hearing!" Brock explained.

Tintri unleashed a Thunderbolt at the extra, charring her disguise. "Behold, the princess you heard was an imposter!" Ash made a grand gesture to the charred extra as the crowd murmured.

"That, and Captain Vernet is a traitor!" Brock went on, to shocked gasps from the crowd. "He has kidnapped the real princess and tried to dispose of us so that he could take the throne for himself!"

"Do you really want to bow before a traitor and a tyrant?" Misty asked the huge crowd of extras onstage.

A resounding "NO!!!" went up from the crowd as Tintri hurried onstage. [Brenna! I hate to interrupt the inspiring speech, but I found the princess and Nichole!]

"You found Princess Caliste?" Ash asked.

Tintri nodded, and dragged on the bound Alyssa and Martine and the charred extras. [Ta-da!] he smiled before freeing Alyssa and Martine.

"Aw"s went up from the real audience as Alyssa gratefully hugged Ash. "Now to deal with the traitor!" Brock growled, drawing his own blade for the impending battle.

Hold on to your dream,
And look out towards the sun! Ash sang over a hopeful introduction.

We'll cherish your wish
And we will, we will protect it!

The music picked up into an adventurous melody as Ash led the charge into battle...

The kids were cheering their hardest as chaos raged onstage. But backstage, the director gave Alyssa the sword she would need for the joyous finale. "Gentle touch, okay?" she smiled.

...Just listen to your heart, that always speaks the truth!
The light will show you the way! Ash's voice triumphantly rang through the the theater. Wild applause and a segue into a victorious theme signaled the musketeers had won!

"And so it was that Captain Vernet's plot was foiled, and the kingdom and Princess Caliste were saved." Melody narrates once the applause dies down. "As thanks for rescuing her, Princess Caliste officially made Rowan, Brenna, and Eliwood--three friends with a bond that couldn't be broken--Royal Musketeers."

(the lights come up on the city square outside the palace, where the three companions have bowed before Princess Caliste as a crowd looks on)

Caliste: With my most heartfelt gratitude for saving me and my kingdom...I hereby dub thee... Rowan of the Red Flame... (she touches his shoulder with a sword) Brenna of the Blue Water... (she touches her shoulder with the sword) and Eliwood of the Forest Green... (she touches his shoulder with the sword) The three of you are hereby welcomed as Royal Musketeers! (the crowd roars at this)

Melody appeared in a spotlight one last time. "Their dream achieved, our heroes served Princess Caliste with honor, and went on many more adventures as Royal Musketeers. But no matter where they went, or what they did, they never forgot the most important part of the Musketeer creed..."

Ash drew his blade as a triumphant melody started. "All for one!"

"And one for all!" Misty and Brock echoed back. The crowd roared as the three of them touched their blades together to create a three point star.

I can't wait to see

The audience roared with applause as the Trio led the crowd in a dance. Oh, it's a new day! the crowd sang.

Oh, it's a new day! the crowd sang. With that, the lights blinked off on the triumphant scene to end the play.

After a few tense seconds, the orchestra started a regal melody as the lights came up again for the curtain call.

Melody led off the bows as the crowd roared with applause. The crowd and the three extras bowed next, then the boy playing Captain Vernet and Lilliane. Alyssa and Martine were next to take their bows.
