Physical description:
Ashley has long flowing blond hair with Azure eyes and dark tanned skin.

She wears a traditional Rotaren cloths of the Royal family. A heavily torn white shawl with dark red trimming outlined with gold dawns over her otherwise bare shoulders

Her shoulderless dress is colored the same way conseals the rest of her slim figure, going down to her knees. however, the large tears in the cloth negates anything the clothing does to conceal her properly.

Mental description:
Though extremely powerful due to Ash's Aura, Ashley is very timid and won't use her powers unless she doesn't have choice, she doesn't make herself known until Ash's Aura starts to grow and forces her to reveal herself, coming out of hiding.

Backstory:

Growing up, Ashley lived in the principality of Rota during the final years of the war of the guardians that had lasted for several centuerys . Where she went under the name princess Hellen of Rota and the air to the Rotaren throne.

A small principality locked on the south coast between the Kanto and Jhoto regions

The princess was born in 1890 when the conflicts between the Lords of the lands there armies fought for political power for their Aura guardian lords

These conflicts where an all time high.with battles breaking out over politics and territory.

On the Eevee of Hellen's 7th birthday, 6 armies were approaching Rota's borders, who had remained neutral, throughout the numerous conflicts raging across the lands through kanto, Johto, and Hoenn Regions.

On one side of the new conflict where the powful Kintu clan, who's lord Showugara, seeked to unite the waring lands. Establishing himself as Shogun. In alliance with him are two of the minor clans and vassals of the Kintu in The modern day Kanto region , the first the Hindu who were renowned for the skilled sharpshooters. Also with him are the famous swordsmen of the Toro clan.

Opposing them are the nomadic hordes of the Hoenn region, there cavalry archers



The tree of beginning, where Lady Mew herself is said to be born, the mother of all Pokémon.

It had become under risk of death, the tree that stood there for as long as Pokémon have existed upon the earth..

Sir Aaron, Rota's own Aura guardian who seeked truth through meditation, was sent out by the king and Queen to calm the fighting, but he failed to appease the raging aura guardians, bringing the city of Rota under siege. It's migear army doing it's best to defend against all odds.

For five long days the city stood tall, on the sixth, with heavy casualties on all three sides where mounting high, and the southern gates were breached, soon followed by the east and west. The north side of the city, was facing a vast cliff, where upon the royal palace was built.

By the end, over half the population of the principality had been slaughtered. It's farmland scorched, and villages razed

Princess Hellen, in a bid to escape the fighting, taking with her baby sister, Ellen, and fled per instructions of her mother, however not without sustaining a large number injuries. Having her clothes close destroyed as well.

Hellen, desperate to avoid the fighting, entered the tree of beginning where she hid Ellen near the entrance before she sacrificed herself calling for Lady Mew's aid to end the conflict. With Hellen's final breath, Mew appeared, and quelled the fighting before more lives were lost

Princess Hellen died, brought beneath a cherry blossom tree, where growing up, it had been her Favorite place to come. Her lingered spirit, through Mews mercy, found its way to her sister, where it fell into dormancy.

The body of Hellen. Was found several hours later, by her parents under the tree where she was found so often relaxing.

She was buried there with a full royal funeral.

The treaty of Hellen was signed a year later on the day the princess died. Bringing an end to all conflicts. And bringing an end to all future wars.

Ellen would go on to Become queen of Rota until her death in 1965 witnessing the foundation of the Pokémon league and the resulting unification of the the lands in 1936.

She took center stage ending the tribal wars in the orange islands, bringing them under the Pokémon league sectioned territory. Who placed a regional capital in the area,

She witnessed, with mixed emotions start the industrial revolution of 1960 that resulted in the construction of the railroads connecting all the major cities in the mainland

Her last act before bet death is the founding of the first region's fear.

"I open these gates to all who may wish to come. Whether you are the youngest of children, poorest of people, all are welcome to share their ideas, or simply learn of what are world might just look like in the near future."

Ellen was buried with her mother and father in the palace grounds, who in turn were buried with their parents.

Hellen's spirit would remain dormant following generation to generation in Ellen's children, then grandchildren. Continuing down her descendants.

Hellen's grave was eventually forgotten and lost to time, though the events of her death was never forgotten, a memorial was built to the souls lost during the siege.

Hellen's spirit was awakened over several decades later on April the first 1997 upon Lady Mew descending from the heavens down to the earth once more upon the birth of Ash Ketchum, the chosen one who is resting verdien City Hospital. Where she cements a soul bond with another. (Depending on version.)

This stirs Ash's aura waking Hellen who doesn't remember who she is, where she is. She retreats further into Ash's soul, finding comfort in the warmth and safety she finds close to his heart, and is only forced back forward when he forcefully used his aura by accident when he is saved from the forest and wakes up in the hospital bed, revealing her to the world temporarily. Her eyes glowing blue with the aura that she shares with Ash.

She disappears back behind Ash's sole once more as he takes dominance once more

She is brought forward again though, with the help of Riolu, who lures her out of hiding. With her not remembering about her past or who she is, Delia names her Ashley and is considered Ash's sister and one of the family.

It's only when Professors Oak bring up her old name up in a conversation, some years later having done a little research, that she starts to remember who she was in the past and how she died all those years ago.

(She sees faint memories of herself learning about being a proper princess, and having manors. Being taught by a woman wearing a crown a emblem on the front.)

Very gradually, she remembers parts of her short life, and will last into book 3 when they visit the principality and the city of Rota, the headquarters for the Pokémon League. They also visit the royal palace, then her grave under the tree. That has overgrown and has been left forgotten. It's only revealed when (depending on version) Ash's girlfriend removes some of the grass covering the gravestone that reads.

Upon seeing her own grave Ashley, or rather Princess Hellen, relives the last few days of her life.
