[RP-Thread] A Smile-less Soirée

The conductor's whistle blew loudly; a sign that all those present at platform 3B of Victoria Station would have to board their train posthaste. Among these people was Avery Westre, a dashing young gent ready to explore the world and discover its grand secrets... Or, so he liked to think.
In truth, however, both his looks and his daily life were mundane and bland like most others' and he was extraordinarily content with that disposition.

"Oy, you lot! Get in the damn coach!" a gruff man told Avery and his fellow passengers sternly. A station attendant, like enough. Avery sighed deeply and did as the man told him.

"Let's see here... Second class..." he muttered to himself absentmindedly and took a seat in a seemingly empty carriage. The second class carriage didn't have separated rooms for their travellers, and Avery felt slightly uncomfortable at the realisation that he essentially lacked any form of privacy.

"At least I'm on board..." he thought to himself as he looked around for people or objects of interest. Avery noticed a clock hanging next to the door leading to where he just entered, a red checkered carpet on the carriage's floor and of course, the large windows presenting the bustling scenery of a people-packed Victoria Station... However, he couldn't see anyone else in the carriage itself as of yet. Perhaps they would arrive later...
