There is currently a new event going on in Pokémon Sun and Moon. The Pokémon you can receive is Salazzle. It is available until September 4th.
I honestly don't understand why they're giving away Pokémon you can just get in game. I mean, if it had some kind of special exclusive move or ability, then that would be worth going out to get. But no. All this Salazzle gets is an egg move, Fake Out. Not gonna lie, I was very disappointed with this.
Ah, that explains it. I think they did that with Midnight Form Lycanroc too. Still disappointed though. If they're going to send out a Pokémon that everyone already likely has, they should at least make it interesting. Make it shiny, give it an exclusive move, anything really.
It also knows toxic flamethrower and sludge bomb Yeah they did do it for Lycanroc to. Also for the shiny Tapu Koko
With Ultra Sun and Moon coming in about 3 months you'd think they would have events for the other shiny Tapus or Ultra Beasts since they can't be obtained normally through the game. Not all VG players play TCG or even collect cards for that matter and I doubt a mediocre Salazzle giveaway would change that smh.
Nothing too special about it really. I will still get it anyway. At least it comes with a free Focus Sash.
I don't mind it that much, I'm too lazy to hunt for a female Salandit so if anything, I'm grateful that I'm getting a Salazzle for free!
I got it because...why wouldn't I? But I was still really disappointed. I mean...I go out of my sanctuary of blankets and technology into the FREEZING COLD because Canada TO GET THIS CARD and all it has is an Egg move. *insert 'booo' buzzer noise here* The Focus Sash is nice. The Lycanroc was cool. The Tapu Koko was awesome. But the Salazzle is disappointing. The only good thing is, since not a lot of people are going to remember this, maybe in a few years it'll be super rare... #MissingNo
I am honestly not even going to bother getting this event. I got a female Salandit on the first encounter.
I'm not sure I wanna bother going down to the GameStop just to get a pokémon I'm already breeding for, these kind of events where they just hand out regular pokémon are pretty lack luster and rarely seem worth it.
Yeah, even with boosted exp is still better to just breed your own instead of being stuck in SR hell for IVs, and the Salazzle have no special moves either with just having Fake Out, Toxic, Flamethrower and Sludge Bomb and holding a Focus Sash an item you can easy get if you have the BP.
