Shulk's Meme Misadventure

This was just a story I came up with at another forum around a month ago now, but since it was so great and given that there are quite a few people who enjoy Xenoblade here, I figured I'd share it with you all as well. lol Now then, ahem...

Far away within a vast and wonderful Gameverse there lives an adventurous young man named Shulk, now Shulk was one of those hard to find, genuinely nice kind of guys, even when he was suffering, he put others first without hesitation. The game he and his friends were all involved in was very popular and just as rare, so much so that people would charge upwards of $100 for the original copies, however this eventually became less troublesome when the wonderful Nintendo company decided to remake the game for the NEW 3DS systems. Even so, the game and everything about it was clearly a huge success all across the world, and because of this one day Shulk found a letter addressed to him...it was an invitation to take part in a smash hit series known as Super Smash Bros. as one of the newcomers. Telling his friend the good news, they all congratulated him and helped him ensure that he was good to go, soon sending him on his way so he could show the other famous smashers the true power of the Monado and the power of team work as well when he managed to get in a Final Smash!

The competition welcomed him the only way possible, with an outright battle to help him become familiar with everything, in the end he had no trouble proving his worth as a fighter and was a welcomed addition to the roster by both the fighters and fans. However, eventually due to one of his taunts Shulk's popularity among people branched off in a new direction as a meme was born, he wasn't sure what this meant exactly, but soon found out the hard way as a rift was torn open and he was suddenly dragged into Meme Hell one day. Nobody really seemed to notice his disappearance after then due to all the fighting going on, the poor young man had to encounter so many memes and run for his dear life, it was truly a horrifying experience and he wished he had never learned about memes in the first place. Furthermore, he also wished he has a vision of this happening so that it could have been outright avoided, but sadly he wasn't so lucky.

It was as if time just stood still where he was, he had no way to tell if it had been mere hours or days, possibly even weeks, soon he managed to catch a break though and came by a tear in the fabric of that hell, immediately taking this chance to escape. He wasn't sure where he was, but it was certainly a rather normal Gameverse and away from the horrible place he just manged to escape from, all he needed to do now was find help. Shulk traveled for a little while, soon finding his way into a fortress where to his surprise he encountered Chrom of the Fire Emblem series! He knew of Chrom, both due to Sakurai having trolled players in regards to having the Lord appear in Super Smash Bros. and also due to him being Lucina's father, whom herself was actually one of his fellow smash combatants. It seemed likely that another rift had appeared in the Fire Emblem Gameverse due to all the memes related to Chrom himself not to mention the series as a whole, but the young hero just wanted to rest up. Weary and very confused as to what all was going on, Shulk approached him, passing by Lucina and Palutena who were there for reasons he knew were thankfully in no way related to what he had just gone through, and a conversation ensued....

Needless to say, he sort of jumped the gun and Chrom was a bit furious, but eventually got over it. After this, they all had a magnificent feast and enjoyed each other's company, with Lucina and Palutena helping poor Shulk get back to the Smash Bros. Gameverse once it was all over.
