Event SoTM with a twist

Welcome to Community Month's SoTM! Regular SoTM participants will already notice that there's something a little different about this month's challenge. For a start it's being hosted by a mew. What's that about??
But! For this year's Community Month SoTM we'll be having a little bit of a twist~

For a start:
EACH PARTICIPANT MUST FIRST PM ME THE RENDER THEY WISH TO USE BEFORE THEY START!
Why? Well the twist is that the render you choose wont be the render you use~ I'll be switching your render with another participants! Are you up to the challenge?

Theme:
LOVE
It's coming up to that time of year again where the shops stock a lot of heart candies and chocolates to celebrate Valentines Day! So why not have a lovey dovey themed SOTM?? Keep in mind you must PM me the render before you start!

Rules
- EACH PARTICIPANT MUST PM ME THEIR SUBMISSION TO BE RANDOMLY DISPLAYED.
I will not be participating or voting so I will have no bearing on the outcome.
- Straying from the SoTM rules or not following the theme will result in a disqualification.
- If you are unsure or have any questions, you may ask below.
- You must put the name of the character under the submission.

Dates & Deadlines
All deadlines are 11:59 PST
Renders to be sent to me
Start Date: Monday, Feb 5th 2018.
End Date: Wednesday, Feb 14h 2018.
I'll send them out on the 15th

Start on signatures
Start Date: Monday, Feb 15th 2018.
End Date: Wednesday, Feb 22nd 2018.

Voting Begins: Saturday, Feb 24th 2018.
Voting Ends: Thursday, Feb 27th 2018.

Prizes
Prizes work in a two tier system. If we reach a certain threshold of participants we use the higher reward tier. If not, we use the lower reward tier.

High Reward Tier (If 10 or more entries)

1st Place - AEROART (half body icon plus a Pokémon extra if you wish).

2nd Place - 40 PokePoints, SoTM 2nd Place Mini-Banner.

3rd Place - 30 PokePoints, SoTM 3rd Place Mini-Banner.

10 PokePoints for participating.

Low Reward Tier (Less than 10 entries)

1st Place - 50 PokePoints, SoTM 1st Place Mini-Banner.

2nd Place - 30 PokePoints, SoTM 2nd Place Mini-Banner.

3rd Place - 20 PokePoints, SoTM 3rd Place Mini-Banner.

10 PokePoints for participating.

Ah yes, hello~

This sounds like a lot of fun but I do have a small question.
Will there be a quality control of the renders sent to you? I mean, imagine how discouraging it would be if someone were to send you a high-quality render (smooth, non-pixellated etc) and that person would receive a botched / damaged looking render in return. After all, there’s only so-much one can do on Photoshop to fix that up.

Hiya!
It'll be a case by case basis but if the render is of low quality, I'll ask them to replace it.

So I probably won't be participating myself, but there's one thing I think I should point out.

Since you're going to randomly exchange renders of people in the event itself, shouldn't this event be divided into three parts - one to submit the render, two to actually receive it from someone else and get to work, and then three to actually vote on it?
It's unclear how long somebody will have to wait before receiving a render from someone else, and it would have to be done in a timely fashion.
