@Sugar Before long, the huge sandwich was assembled. The tea and some accompaniments were nearby. "Not a bad job, if I say so myself." Misty grinned as she set out a few more pastries and tea sandwiches
"I agree, everything looks simply wonderful and I have no idea what to try first, to be honest. Might as well go with one of everything in that case."
@Sugar Even Michelle was intrigued in the spread. [You both did very well.] she smiled as she admired the teapot and the pastries
@Sugar "Let's just sample our handiwork." Misty suggested. "I don't really have a fixed order of courses."
"Sounds fair enough to me I suppose. After you." Sophie insisted. She wanted Misty to take whatever she wanted first.
@Sugar Serena arrived later that evening. "I heard from Misty about your cooking session today..." she smiled. "How's the leg feeling?"
"The pain spasms have become less frequent, but somehow, they're bothering me even more than they usually do. I think it's recovering at a decent pace, so as long as I take this one day at a time, I should be good."
@Sugar Serena smiled. "I look forward to joining you onstage as soon as you're cleared to return. She then unloaded a few gifts from her bag. "I figured you'd be bored lying in bed, so I brought you a few things to do."
"I think I have enough items to help me not feel bored." Sophie waved her hand at the nearby table, which had more than enough items on it. "But one more couldn't hurt."
@Sugar Serena's gifts included books and game store gift cards. Of course, she had included the receipts in case Sophie wanted to exchange anything.
Sophie wasn't much of a reader, but she shuffled through the books to find something that she would read in her free time.
@Sugar The books were from a variety of genres that Serena and the other actors figured Sophie would like. They had intentionally stayed away from overly dark and depressing books, as well as overly melodramatic books.
Sophie grabbed one book from the pile. There was someone very familiar on the cover, but Sophie couldn't quite figure out who they were. "Who's autobiography is this?" She asked, sounding very bemused.
