At the start of the Summer Scramble sign ups in June, we teased that there would be a a special encounter with an extremely rare Pokémon never seen before on LV and a chance to shiny hunt it all of August. Well, today we can officially announce that this Pokémon will be...

The god of all Pokémon, Arceus!

That's right, the winning team will get to catch and even shiny hunt Arceus for ALL of August. Though our shiny rates won't be raised, it will appear in a hidden location which only the winning team can access, and since it's the only encounter in that location, the odds of finding it as a shiny will be much higher.

The winning team will also get to keep their special name colour through August.

But, never fear! The losing team will get to encounter a Phione Egg for all of August! Bare in mind, so will the winning team, so this isn't an exclusive reward but is still something those who didn't participate in Summer Scramble cannot obtain without significantly more effort.



This is on top of all of the individual rewards events hand out, which include more rare catcher encounters, medals and PokéPoints too! So, Crimson and Azure - get busy.

Additionally, like last year, if you don't participate throughout the month (and earn at least 3 Scramble Points for your team), even if your team wins you won't be eligible for the grand prizes. So help your team out. Participate, communicate and have fun!
