I'll take it that I can't have legendaries. Because realistically, if someone were to go out and search for godlike beasts in exotic locations, it would not be me. So if I were to choose just six...

Infernape - The first ever starter I chose. I'm going to have to choose it again if Pokémon were real.
Crobat - Cute, fast, can learn Acrobatics and hey, I'm a sucker for Zubats. Plus, it means I'll be able to fly around on a giant bat. And that's awesome.
Gardevoir - Graceful, mega-evolving princess. Strong and loves people. Gives good fashion advice.
Sharpedo - Shark.
Jolteon - Spark cat... Dog... Thing.... My favourite eeveelution, and it's even small enough to sleep on the foot of my bed.
Ribombee - I need this one. It's a small bee with a scarf. What's there not to like?

I was going to put Aegislash on the list, but then I realised I wouldn't want to go anywhere near one in real life.

 

I think my current team would be great: Metagross, Alola Ninetales, Pyroar, Galvantula, Milotic, and Pidgeot.

Sorry Araquanid, but I hate real-life spiders...

 

Hmm.

Gives a good mix of offense and defense as well as no huge weaknesses (except maybe fighting), even though none except maybe Hydreigon are particularly fast.

 

This is my team so... yay teaaaammmmm these were my babies in ORAS, haven't really updated my idea of a good team for real life as well, a little bit of everything you could need

 

Absol, Leafeon, Altaria, Ninetales, Ribombee, and Samurott. A few for battle, and others for maximum fluff and adorableness~

 

Pachirisu, Rotom, Ralts, Vanillite, Eevee, and Chikorita. I'm a sucker for the super cute Pokémon.

 

I guess I basically have this on my profile, shiny Sylveon is a given, but also shiny lapras (because I can't swim and it can carry me), shiny porygon because it's so fascinating and cute, shiny alolan ninetales because it looks elegant and cuddly, shiny dragonair or dragonite because that was my original favorite Pokémon before Sylveon came out and maybe shiny blissy, something about it seems appealing and useful :'D

 

This is a weird combination but, Latias,Lucario,Roselia,Metagross,Gyarados and Machamp.

WANTE Six Pokémon willing to become the team of a certain crazy glitch-obsessed fangirl. Must be able to tolerate nonstop obsessiveness over fandoms, technology abuse, and anime binging. Comforting after said fangirl loses to the Battle Tree for the thousandth time a bonus. Legendaries need not apply, since Gira should not be trusted with Legendaries or she'd destroy the world.
