"Dance? I see," Leon replied. "Well, we'll see what tomorrow will be like."

Evergreen, Oku, and Belle had also to their balls which left Leon on his own with Michelle. He also decided to crawl into bed to get some sleep. As he did, he turned to Michelle again. "Hey, thanks for earlier. I would have thought Belle was done for if it weren't for you."

 

"Good point. I appreciate that," Leon replied. He too decided to go to sleep. The next stage of the tour tomorrow would occur at night, so at least he could get some well-deserved rest in light of the events today. He could sleep in tomorrow, or he could enjoy the atmosphere instead. If he was up for it, maybe he could ask Michelle if she wanted to do something together.

 

Shortly after, Leon had woken up and had noticed that Michelle's bed was empty. Seeing that she was up already, Leon also got out of bed too and stretched his arms. Then he let Belle out to take in her fill of sunshine.

As Michelle came back from the bathroom, he greeted her with a nod. "Morning. Did you sleep well? Want to grab breakfast?" he asked, and without waiting for a reply he quickly went to get changed. He came out shortly after with his bag and hat.

Belle turned her head over to see Michelle was all dressed and ready to go. [The event doesn't start until the evening, after all.]

"I see," Leon replied.

It had taken time before Leon had taken the elevator to the ground level, since the elevator was packed with people trying to leave the tower and it kept stopping every so often. It may as well have been faster to have taken the stairs instead. By the time Leon arrived at the ground level, he found himself seeing a lot of people gathered in the foyer, with many more walking out of the building.

Evergreen also was out of her Poké Ball to stretch her legs. "Where is she?"

"Shouldn't be that hard to miss," Leon remarked.

As there were a lot of fans who wanted to get shots of themselves with Michelle, it was simply too busy to get out of here smoothly. Frankly, for what it was worth, every competitor in the Pokétopia Tour was a celebrity. So for Michelle, it came as no surprise as she was stopped frequently. She might as well get a chaperone or someone to escort her.

By the time Leon and Evergreen walked through the foyer, they too were inundated by a large number of people surrounding them. Evergreen decided to act as a chaperone for the time being so that she could clear the space around Leon, while also looking for Michelle.

"Oh, I think I see her," Evergreen said, seeing the streak of red hair in this crowd.

"Right," Leon replied. "Well, breakfast will be a while," he added as he and Evergreen approached the redhead.

 

(Heheh nice. He is cute)

"Of course," Leon replied. "Let's get going."

They walked from their tower out to Main Street where it was clear that everyone was fighting to get a seat at wherever place served breakfast. Cafés, diners, and restaurants could be seen with lineups waiting to get in. For Evergreen, she was discouraged by the sight that she wouldn't be able to get a bite. Even the convenience stores had lineups!

"Ugh... Where can we eat?" Evergreen whined.

"We need pie," Leon said. "Pie is good."

(Now that you mention it, how about if Michelle gets mobbed by a group of fans and they lead her away? And you can throw some Team Magma in there)

 

“Hey. Don’t insult the pie. You never know what might come out of it,” Leon crossed his arms. “Like… wait. Do you want to go to a picnic? There’s a nice place for that, actually.”

Evergreen pulled Leon’s arm. “Breakfast first,” and then she looked at Michelle. “Anything you want to eat?”

Evergreen looked at the sandwich speechlessly and then looked to Leon. "I don't think she likes you," she said and began to eat. "It's a wonder why you're paired together."

"I will never understand girls," Leon said, and then he went to follow Michelle wherever she went.

"They're not that complicated. You're just not good at it."

"...Thanks, Evergreen."

The headlines today described the next event would occur at the Neon Colosseum, located high above Main Street. If Michelle and Leon looked above their heads, they could see the giant ball that was the colosseum, attached to one of the towers. One could only wonder what it would look like at night. For now, there was free time for the competitors until the night.

Leon, Belle, and Evergreen kept walking until they passed by a store selling crepes, sweet and savoury. Evergreen practically begged Leon with puppy dog-eyes for him to buy her and Belle some, to which Leon agreed at last.

It was then the girl at the counter asked Leon if he could collect ingredients to develop a special recipe she was working on. Knowing that he was an active participant, she promised she would give a round of crepes for free if he agreed to do it, in exchange that he would appear in some of the shop's ads. Evergreen was more or less enthusiastic and insisted that Leon try to find them. Apparently, the recipe involved gummies, so that was a start.

High above in the Neon Colosseum, Maria was chatting with Rosie (the host) over how the event would play out.

Leon was mildly surprised to see Michelle before him. “Oh, I’m off to do some shopping for the stall here. They’re trying a new recipe and would give us free crepes in return.”

High above in the colosseum, Maria and Rosie were surprised to have a visitor. “Who are you?” Maria asked. “I think it’ll be fun! It’ll be like a ball or a dance-off. Maybe we should have ballroom dancing or something.”
