Symphony, knowing that she was beaten in terms of type advantage and that Michelle had a third Pokémon available, smiled and shook her head. Looking at the referee, she waved her hands in resignation and recalled her Pokémon. Evidently, this indicated that Symphony had resigned.

 

Soon enough, Leon saw Michelle return to the lounge beneath the colosseum and had her Pokémon healed. He waved at Michelle. "You did really well out there," he said. "How did you do that? You just came from behind and turned the tables."

Belle stared at Michelle. [Whoa...] she squeaked.

 

Leon scoffed a little. "You have to go without a single defeat, eh?" This was an interesting girl, he found. Then again, there were plenty of other Trainers who were like her, and she was in the right place to do so. Elsewhere, Symphony - Michelle's opponent - had appeared in the lounge too.

Soon enough, after several more battles from other Trainers, it was Leon's turn to take the stage. He went to the blue elevator with his Pokémon all in their respective balls, even Belle. Then he emerged onto the colosseum and took in the view of his surroundings. The giant Pachirisu and Bidoof watched over him along with the crowds that had gathered.

 

(Sure. Go for it)

From above, Maria watched the battle begin unfolding. Cheers could be heard around the colosseum and through the streets of the city. Who would have thought of turning the street into a battlefield? Or rather, putting a colosseum right in the middle of the street? That was something only Pokétopia could do.

Leon sent out Belle and Oku first.

 

(Ah that brings me back)

Leon smiled at the attention that his opponent was receiving. Seemed he wasn't the only one with fans (or rather, fangirls).

"Belle, Leaf Blade! Oku, Ice Beam!"

Where he would follow up with Sweet Scent plus Magical Leaf for Belle and Octazooka and another Ice Beam for Oku afterward.

"Hey," Leon called out to Linda as he recalled Belle and was about to send out Evergreen. "You okay?"

Leon was met with cheers from his surroundings around Main Street. Seemed he hadn't lost his touch with battling at all! After waving to the crowd, he went back to the lobby below the battlefield. There, he met up with Michelle after squirming his way through the crowded lobby.

He held a very exhausted Belle in his arms as he did. "That was a tough battle," he remarked. "You deserve a little break, Belle."

 

"I... I suppose we'll have to watch the rest of our opponents battle," Leon replied. "Then it's the next event at the gateway."

On the monitor, and occurring above their heads, was the next two opponents. A brown-haired boy in a green Poké Ball t-shirt and glasses was using a Togetic and Venusaur against an Umbreon and Espeon belonging to an older boy (about Leon's age) in a green shirt and black sneakers. The battle was quick and fierce.

(Not going to get into the details of the battle, of course... Feel free to write a summary of another round of OCs - Maybe Michelle could square off against the colosseum leader... or we could end this event)
